Today’s episode begins with Seher and Amal hearing a knock on the door. Amal says that it is very late at night and wonders who could have come. She says that she is scared.
Seher hides Amal and picks up a knife for safety. She opens the window and is shocked to see Mahid standing there.
Mahid says that Amal must be hungry. He tells Seher that he has brought food for them. He says she can take the food through the window and there is no need to open the door.
Mahid Assures Seher
He tells her that she is not in danger from him and asks her to put the knife down. Mahid says that he will guard the house from outside. He tells her not to worry and asks her to trust him because she is safe.
Seher says that she had trusted him, and she is still waiting for him. She then closes the window. Amal asks Seher who was outside. Seher says that it was someone who was once known to both her and Kausar. Mahid feels heartbroken after hearing this.
Zafar Ali Khan Visits Niyazi Manzil
At Niyazi Manzil Zafar Ali Khan arrives. Husna thanks him for coming and to share their grief. Zafar says that he still cannot believe that Usman has been killed.
He asks Husna about Mahid. Husna says that Mahid is busy supporting Usman’s criminals. She says that Mahid is not ready to listen to anyone. Husna says that Mahid is short-tempered. She says that the whole society is afraid of him so nobody says anything to his face but grief and anger can turn into a storm.
Zafar says that he is also surprised by Mahid’s behavior.Husna says that the whole society only talks about the person who is no longer in this world. She says she cannot understand why, at a time when society needs support, people are only talking about their own problems.
Seher Remembers Kausar
Seher cries while remembering Kausar. Outside her room Mahid stands guard. Seher looks at Amal and thinks that Amal left behind her luxurious house, comfortable life and even a loving father like Fareed for them.
She thinks that if she herself is unable to handle the situation then how will she take care of Amal?. Seher prays that Kausar returns not only for her but also for Amal and Muneera. She says that she cannot wait anymore.
Seher thinks Amal might wake up after hearing her crying Seher decides to go outside. She sees Mahid standing there. Mahid says that he heard a sound and thought someone was trying to enter the house so he came there.
Seher says that the one who entered her house was already outside.
Seher Questions Mahid
Mahid tells Seher that he understands her pain. He says that he knows very well how it feels to live without a mother and how much it hurts because his own mother is not with him either.
Seher says that her mother is alive. She says she believes that Kausar will return. She asks Mahid if Kausar will come back. Mahid remains silent.
Husna Manipulates Zafar
Husna asks Zafar to suggest what they should do. Zafar says that he is in a big dilemma. He says that someone has to take charge of the society otherwise everyone will start doing whatever they want.
He says that he had great hopes from Mahid. He says people have now lost trust in Mahid.  Zafar says that he cannot understand who can guide the people during such a difficult time.
People Turn Against Mahid
Just then a group of people arrives. They ask where Mahid is. Haider asks them what happened.
One man says that a person who was supposed to become Mufti is now supporting murderers. He says that if Mahid cannot even mourn Usman’s death properly then how can he protect or guide the people?
The man says that Mahid himself must answer these questions. Haider says that he understands their concerns and asks them to stay patient because a solution will surely be found.
Mahid Promises Seher to Find Kausar
Mahid assures Seher that the search for Kausar will continue. He says that no matter where she is in the world he will find her. Mahid tells Seher that he is with her.
Seher asks where Kausar could be and why people wanted to kill her. She asks if Kausar’s crime was wanting to educate her daughter or raising her voice against marrying her daughter off at the age of sixteen.
She asks whether her crime was freeing herself from a relationship that only gave her humiliation and abuse. Seher asks Mahid what Kausar’s real fault was. she accidentally holds the Mahid’s hand.
She asks why he is silent and questions whether speaking against something wrong is a crime. Seher says that every word spoken by Kausar was turned into a rebellion. Her truth was called a lie. She says that even that was not enough so Kausar was accused of killing Usman.
Mahid Vows to Prove Kausar’s Innocence
Seher says people accepted the accusation only because Kausar was a woman who refused to bow her head. She says everyone joined together to crush her.
Seher keeps asking what Kausar’s crime was and breaks down in tears. Mahid feels bad seeing her in such pain.He thinks the same people who tried to prove Kausar guilty will one day become witnesses to her innocence.
Mahid says that it is not just a promise but his responsibility. He vows that he will clear every stain, every accusation and every lie placed on Kausar and prove that she is innocent.
Haider Impresses Zafar
Haider speaks in front of Zafar and the gathered people. He says that everyone is mourning Usman’s death and that this sorrow belongs to all of them. The people agree with him.
Husna continues influencing Zafar. She says that handling people is not easy but Haider has not forgotten his values and manners. Husna says that Haider is cleaning up the thorns planted by Mahid. Zafar becomes impressed with Haider.
Zafar Removes Mahid From Responsibility
The next day Mahid returns to the madrasa. He sees Haider holding a meeting with the people in his absence.
Mahid asks Haider what he is doing. Haider says that since Mahid was not there he had no choice but to handle the work. Mahid thanks him for managing everything in his absence and says that now he has returned Haider can leave.
However Zafar stops him. Zafar says that it would be better if Haider stayed. He asks Mahid to leave. Mahid says Usman has died and all the responsibilities are now on Mahid’s shoulders so he cannot leave. Zafar accuses Mahid of joining hands with Usman’s enemies.
He says that the entire community knows Mahid supported Kausar the woman accused of killing Usman. Mahid says the community also knows he never supports criminals but he will always stand up for and protect an innocent person.
Mahid Challenges Zafar
Mahid says that if anyone still doubts his intentions then it is nothing but a misunderstanding.
Zafar says that Mahid believes only he is right. Mahid says that he is not making baseless claims. Mahid says that he will prove Kausar’s innocence and when the truth comes out the entire community and everyone involved will have to answer for the wrong they have done to her.
Zafar responds that until Mahid proves his own innocence, Haider will remain in charge. Mahid is left shocked.
Precap: Husna says that Mahid had dreamed of becoming Mufti since childhood but Kausar and Seher destroyed that dream. Mahid says that he will settle this matter today itself.
Seher says that everyone targeting Kausar will have to pay for their actions.
