Today’s episode begins with Mahid asking Rahim who was behind the attempt to ruin his speech. He demands that Rahim reveal the name of the person who sent him as he is certain that Seher is not involved.
Rahim denies everything and says that he has done nothing but Mahid loses his temper and hits him while demanding the truth. At the same time Wasim checks Mahid and Seher’s room only to find that they are not there.
Mahid threatens Rahim warning him not to test his patience. Rahim says that if he reveals the truth he else will kill him and if he doesn’t Mahid will kill him. He apologizes clearly terrified. Just when Rahim is about to confess Wasim arrives and stops Mahid warning that he might kill Rahim in anger. Seher intervenes and says that Mahid is not losing control but trying to uncover the truth. Wasim signals Rahim to escape and Rahim runs away. Mahid pushes Wasim aside and rushes after Rahim while Wasim becomes worried that Rahim must not fall into Mahid’s hands.
Seher Gets Injured
Seher follows Rahim but he manages to escape. During the chase Seher gets injured. Mahid notices this and immediately focuses on her but Seher insists that he should go after Rahim instead of worrying about her.
Ignoring her request Mahid calls the police and sends Rahim’s photo asking them to catch him. He then gently removes a thorn from Seher’s hand and takes care of her injury. Seher again tells him that he should have chased Rahim but Mahid responds that he is exactly where he needs to be to apologize.
Mahid’s Emotional Apology Changes Everything
Mahid kneels down and sincerely apologizes to Seher. He admits that she was right about the kebab conspiracy and even what happened in Adamganj was not her fault.
He emotionally confesses that he has received very little sympathy in life which makes it easy for him to believe that people betray him. He says how his mother Ghazala left him making him feel that no one truly cares for him. Because of this he assumed that Seher was using him for her studies which led to his harsh behavior.
Husna’s Manipulation and Cruel Plan
On the other side Kausar questions Husna about why she does not throw Seher out of the house if she dislikes her so much. Husna replies that she is unable to do so and claims that Seher has somehow influenced Usman.
She reveals shocking details saying that Mahid has not even touched Seher and that they sleep separately proving that their relationship is not normal. Kausar tries to defend Seher saying that they might just be taking time to understand each other but Husna refuses to agree. Husna claims that Mahid has loved Nazima since childhood and married Seher only to respect Usman’s wishes. She further says that once Usman learns that Seher cannot bear children Mahid will use that as a reason to marry Nazima as his second wife. According to her Seher will be left alone and ignored in the house.
After saying all this Husna leaves hoping that Kausar will throw Seher out while Kausar is left deeply worried.
Seher and Mahid Make Promises
Back with Mahid and Seher Seher says that after spending time with him she has started understanding him but he cannot escape his mistakes so easily. Mahid asks what she wants and Seher asks him to make some promises.
She asks him to promise that he will support her in all her upcoming exams that he will buy her books without questioning her and that he will not accuse her without reason. Mahid agrees but asks her to promise that she will never lie to him and Seher accepts.
Seher then adds more playful conditions, saying that he must always let her use the washroom first and if she asks for more promises in the future he must agree to those as well. Mahid laughs and agrees to everything making Seher extremely happy.
Amal’s Health Worsens
Meanwhile Amal’s condition worsens and she keeps calling out for Kausar. Fareed tells her to rest, but she insists on knowing where Kausar is.
Fareed receives a call from Sultana who informs him about a complicated hospital case and clearly says that Kausar should not come there. She explains that fever is treated with medicine not by someone sitting beside the patient. Despite giving Amal medicine her fever does not go down. At the same time Mahid arrives for his appointment and Fareed asks Zoya to take care of Amal while he attends to him.
Kausar Reveals a Shocking Truth to Seher
At the dargah Kausar is praying when Seher comes to meet her. Seher happily tells her that Mahid apologized to her which surprises her.
However Kausar reveals something shocking. She says that Mahid is behaving well only because of Nazima and that Mahid and Nazima have loved each other since childhood. She tells Seher that she is just an obstacle between them. Seher refuses to believe this but Kausar reminds her that Nazima used to visit before the wedding and tried to keep her away from Mahid. She claims that Mahid is only maintaining the marriage because of Usman and is giving Seher freedom so that one day he can throw her out by accusing her of not giving him a child.
Seher is left shocked and confused recalling past events and trying to connect everything.
Mahid Learns to Handle His Trauma
At the hospital Mahid asks Fareed to help him get rid of the influence of Ghazala’s memories which affect his decisions. Fareed advises him to use the 5-4-3-2-1 grounding technique whenever he feels a panic attack coming.
He explains that Mahid should focus on five things he can see four things he can touch, three things he can hear, two things he can smell, and one thing he can taste as this will help break the panic cycle. Mahid says that he hopes this technique works. Mahid then notices that Fareed seems worried. Fareed admits that he feels stuck in a situation where a closed chapter keeps reopening and Mahid advises him that no one can fight destiny suggesting that he should make the call he is hesitating to make.
Seher Chooses Trust Over Doubt
Kausar warns Seher that the sooner she leaves this complicated situation the less pain she will face and insists that Mahid belongs to Nazima.
However Seher strongly defends Mahid. She says that he cares for her deeply protects her and never lets her get hurt. She compares him with Parvez and says that Mahid is completely different. Seher declares that she trusts Mahid completely not because she loves him but because he has earned her trust. Kausar sadly responds that when a girl falls in love even her mother seems like her enemy.
Seher denies being in love but firmly stands by her belief in Mahid.
Precap: Seher creates a study space in the room and when Mahid asks about it she tells him that this will now be her space. Meanwhile a masked man secretly enters their room to attack Mahid hinting at a dangerous twist ahead.
