Today’s episode begins seven years later. In Srinagar a gathering of Muftis is taking place. One of the Muftis says everyone will soon get the chance to hear the Mufti Mahid’s speech. Mahid makes his grand entry.
Mahid Speaks About Pain
Mahid begins his speech. He says pain, suffering and difficulties are not punishments from God. He says they are gifts given only to people who have the strength to bear them.
Mahid notices prayer beads in a man’s hand and remembers Seher and his first meeting. He says if a person accepts pain with patience that pain opens the path to a better destiny.
He then takes the prayer beads from the man’s hand. Everyone is surprised. Mahid says life is like those prayer beads.
He explains that every bead represents peace and happiness and without those moments life loses its beauty.
Seher Calms a Violent Patient
Meanwhile at the hospital a patient loses control and starts attacking the nurses.
Seher enters the ward while playing music.
The patient slowly calms down.
Seher asks if she likes the song. She says her mother used to love that song. She asks Seher why she is playing it. Seher introduces herself as her doctor.
She gives the patient an injection. The woman says there is no cure for her pain. Seher says every pain has a cure.
Zeba Gets Furious
At the hospital Dr. Zeba scolds the Man. She says she travelled such a long distance only to see one or two patients. She says her time is valuable and should not be wasted.
The man explains the annual gathering of the Muftis is taking place so most people have gone there. He says that is why the hospital is quiet.Just then Dr. Zeba hears loud music.
She asks the nurse where the sound is coming from. She says they have started a party inside the hospital. The nurse tells her that the new doctor Seher is playing the music for a patient. Zeba becomes angry.
Zeba Scolds Seher
Seher finishes treating the patient. The patient’s son thanks Seher for helping his mother. Zeba sarcastically says Seher seems to have a lot of medical knowledge.
Seher says she studied day and night to become a doctor. Zeba asks why she was playing music instead of treating the patient. She asks whether Seher came to the hospital to treat patients or entertain herself.
Seher says she was trying to distract the patient’s mind from the pain. Zeba tells her she is only a resident doctor and everything in the hospital follows strict protocols not experiments.
Seher Defends Her Treatment
Seher says she was also protecting herself because the patient could have attacked and injured her.
Zeba says since Seher understands patients emotions so well she should go to the Mufti gathering and convince people to come to the hospital’s medical camp. She tells Seher it is an order.
Mahid Receives a Call From Kaiz
A man asks Mahid to bless his child for a bright future. Just then Mahid receives a call from Kaiz. Mahid excuses himself.
Kaiz tells him he had promised to take him out. He says he has been waiting. Mahid promises he will arrive on time.
Amal Complains to Seher
Meanwhile Amal calls Seher. She tells Seher they were supposed to go trekking together. Seher says she does not think she will be able to come as Dr. Zeba has ordered her to convince people at the Mufti gathering to visit the medical camp.
Amal tells Seher to simply refuse Dr. Zeba.
Seher asks if Amal has started writing her story. Amal lies and says she has almost finished it. Seher says she will call her later.
Mahid Fails to See Seher
While talking on the phone Seher notices Zubair troubling a woman. He slaps her.
Seher remembers Parvez torturing Kausar.
She threatens to call the police.
Zubair immediately starts running away. Seher chases him. At the same time Mahid is nearby. Zubair accidentally bumps into Mahid. Because this Mahid does not notice Seher.
Mahid and Seher Almost Meet
Seher rushes back to help the woman.
Mahid asks the people who the man was and why he was running. A man tells him that it was Zubair.
Mahid notices a Seher helping the victim but he cannot see Seher’s face.
Zeba Questions Seher
Seher brings the woman to the medical camp. Dr. Zeba tells Seher she to understand people’s minds but she returned with only one patient.
She tells Seher she was sent to bring many people to the camp. Seher says she found the injured woman on the way so she brought her for treatment.
Seher asks the woman if Zubair is her husband. She asks why he was beating her. The woman lies and says she simply fell down and got hurt.
Seher tells her not to consider herself weak. She asks her to stop hiding her husband’s mistakes by blaming herself.
Mahid Searches for Zubair
Later Mahid visits Zubair’s shop. He hits Zubair. Zubair immediately runs away. Meanwhile Amal arrives at the medical camp. She notices Zeba looking upset.
Amal goes to her and says she is her biggest fan. Zeba asks who she is. Amal introduces herself as Seher’s sister. She says she came to help.She says she will teach Seher how to convince people.
Just then Seher arrives. Amal asks Seher to come with her. Seher takes Amal away from there.
Seher Feels Mahid’s Presence
Zubair sits inside a boat. Mahid follows him. Meanwhile Seher continues convincing people to visit the medical camp. Amal says she wants to go on the boat.
She tells Seher to relax because her real job is treating patients not convincing people. At that moment Seher suddenly feels Mahid’s presence nearby.
