In a surprising turn of events within the ongoing ₹200-crore money laundering saga, jailed businessman Sukesh Chandrashekhar has released another handwritten letter addressed to Bollywood actor Jacqueline Fernandez. The note, dated April 21, 2026, surfaces at a critical juncture as Fernandez moves to become an “approver” in the case, a move that legally pits her against the man who continues to profess his devotion from behind bars.
The letter, which was shared publicly via social media platforms, sees Chandrashekhar adopting an unexpectedly supportive tone despite Fernandez’s recent legal maneuvers. Addressing her with familiar terms of endearment such as “Baby Botta Bomma” and “My Jackie,” Sukesh wrote that he remains unwavering in his feelings.
“All is fair in love and war,” the letter reads. “You are mine, I am yours forever. I will always stand by you, whatever it takes.”
The note comes just days after Fernandez filed a plea in a Delhi court seeking to turn approver, which would involve her providing testimony and evidence regarding the alleged crimes in exchange for a pardon. While such a move typically signals a breakdown in a relationship between co-accused parties, Sukesh’s letter suggests a different narrative, claiming that his support for her is independent of the legal battle.
This is far from the first time Chandrashekhar has used handwritten notes to reach out to the actor. Earlier this year, on Valentine’s Day, he claimed to have gifted her a luxury Airbus helicopter and issued a public apology for the “legal troubles” she has faced due to their association.
In past letters, he has compared their relationship to legendary romances like Romeo and Juliet, often dismissing the criminal allegations against him as a “storm” that will eventually pass. However, Fernandez has consistently maintained in her own court statements that she is a victim who was duped by Sukesh into believing he was a legitimate businessman.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED), which is investigating the money laundering case, has requested more time to respond to Fernandez’s plea to turn approver. Special Judge Prashant Sharma has listed the matter for a further hearing on May 8, 2026.
Legal experts suggest that if the court grants Fernandez approver status, it could significantly strengthen the prosecution’s case against Chandrashekhar. Despite the high stakes, Sukesh concluded his most recent note with a signature “Your Baby Boy,” adding, “Love you crazy, missing you crazier. That’s all that matters.” To
