The upcoming supernatural folklore thriller film The Vvaan: Force of the Forest, featuring actors Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia, has officially unveiled its highly anticipated first teaser. Presented by Balaji Motion Pictures in collaboration with TVF and 11.11 Production, the film promises to take audiences on a riveting ride filled with ancient mythology, terrifying secrets, and supernatural forces. Directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra of Panchayat fame and written by TVF’s Arunabh Kumar, the project marks a unique step into folk fantasy for its lead actors. The first footage introduces viewers to a forbidden, eerie forest governed by a strict rule stating that nobody is allowed to enter the woods after sunset.
The teaser opens with a troubled Sidharth Malhotra seeking answers about strange, unsettling visions that continue to haunt his mind. Tamannaah Bhatia plays his wife Mamta, a firm believer in the divine who reminds him of his deep-rooted, unspoken connection with the mysterious forest and helps him decode these visions. Visuals from the clip hint heavily at ancient deity worship, tiger iconography, and Goddess Durga connections, showing Sidharth wielding a trident to battle a mysterious evil force lurking in the dark. Alongside the lead pair, the film features a talented ensemble cast including Sunil Grover in a sinister antagonistic role, along with Maniesh Paul, Shweta Tiwari, and Anup Soni.
Backing the production are producers Ektaa R Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor, Arunabh Kumar, and Niraj Kothari, with visual direction by Manu Anand and background score composed by Sandeep Shirodkar. Following a series of postponements due to high-end visual effects and post-production work, the makers have confirmed that The Vvaan: Force of the Forest is set for a worldwide theatrical release on September 25, 2026.
