This week’s TRP chart shows interesting position shifts with top fiction shows strengthening their dominance while a few mid-level shows climbed higher due to increased viewer interesting
At the top of the charts Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2.0 reinforced its leadership by climbing from 2.0 TRP last week to 2.3 TRP this week firmly retaining the No.1 position. A major highlight this week is Naagin 7 which made with 2.1 TRP directly entering the charts at No.2. Anupamaa also registered growth improving from 2.0 to 2.1 TRP and held strong at the No.3 position. Shows such as Tum Se Tum Tak, Udne Ki Aasha – Sapno Ka Safar and Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan maintained stable positions around the 1.9 TRP mark reflecting consistent viewership despite stiff competition.
The mid-tier segment witnessed significant upward movement this week. Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment emerged as one of the biggest gainers jumping from 1.6 TRP last week to 1.9 TRP resulting in a clear rise in rankings. Mannat Har Khushi Paane Ki also showed strong growth improving from 1.3 to 1.6 TRP and moved ahead of several competing shows. Jagadhatri,Tu Juliet Jatt Di, and Udne Ki Aasha posted modest increases helping them either improve or retain their positions. Meanwhile Vasudha saw a slight dip from 1.9 to 1.8 TRP leading to a minor slide in rankings.
Indian Idol registered a mild recovery rising from 0.9 to 1.1 TRP resulting in a small upward shift in rankings. However shows such as Pushpa Impossible, Noyontara, and Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahi remained stagnant around the 0.8 TRP mark showing no significant positional movement. A sharp decline was observed for Mahabharat Ek Dharmayudh which fell from 0.7 TRP last week to 0.3 TRP pushing it further down the charts.
Among the new launches Mahadev & Sons made a strong impression by opening with 1.7 TRP its launch day and closing the week with a weekly average of 1.6 TRP placing it comfortably in the mid-tier category in its debut week. The show entered the rankings with 1.4 TRP indicating moderate yet promising initial viewership.
