Today’s episode begins with Abhira feeling extremely emotional and broken after Miara’s bail gets rejected. She feels completely useless and starts comparing the black coat of a lawyer with the black stain on her face. According to her the lawyer’s black coat represents pride and courage to fight for truth and strength to raise a voice for justice. But the black stain on her face represents only shame and failure.
She believes she is not worthy of wearing that coat anymore and instead deserves only humiliation. Abhira calls herself the worst lawyer but even worse she feels she is a terrible mother. She blames herself for not being able to fight for Miara and calls herself a loser who has brought shame to both her profession and motherhood.
In frustration she picks up grease and starts applying it on her face breaking down in tears.
Abhira Pushes Armaan Away in Anger
Armaan arrives at the garage looking for Abhira but she lashes out at him. She says she cannot even fix his car and only knows how to ruin things. She asks him to leave saying there are no machines here only murders implying she has destroyed lives and expectations.
She claims she only knows how to kill hopes nothing else. At that moment she hears Miara’s voice and becomes emotional.
Armaan reminds her that Miara needed her eight years ago and still needs her today. To motivate her he plays an old voice note where Abhira once confidently fought a case for a mother. He shows her her old medals and certificates reminding her of her successful past. Then he shows her a picture with Miara and tells her that this should become her future.
He says when it comes to a child a mother can fight the whole world this is just one case.
Armaan Challenges Abhira’s Self-Doubt
Abhira insists she is not a good lawyer and cannot fight this case. Armaan counters her by saying that the court may need evidence and witnesses but he himself is proof of her strength.
When Abhira calls herself a loser Armaan points out that she wants to win with truth but keeps speaking lies about herself so how can she be a loser? She admits she does not have the courage to fight for Miara. Armaan explains that while a lawyer relies on evidence a mother’s love has no limit. That love can become a shield to protect Miara.
He hands her the case papers and asks her to sign them and fight for Miara.
Abhira Refuses Fearing Failure
Abhira refuses and questions if he wants Miara to lose and remain in the remand home. She fears Miara will think both her parents are useless.
Armaan explains that this is exactly why he is returning the case to her. she urges her to be practical gather strength and fight. she tells her to give Miara confidence and not break her trust.
In anger Abhira throws grease on her certificates ruining them. She says she cannot even speak properly in front of Meher’s lawyer and fears that if she takes the case again Miara’s future will be destroyed. She believes everyone already thinks she is the worst mother.
Armaan Admits His Own Mistakes
Armaan stops her and admits that he is the real culprit. He calls himself selfish and says he only listened to himself. He believed he was the best lawyer and father but in reality he was wrong.
He confesses that eight years ago he forgot that a child needs both parents. He took away Miara’s right to have her mother just because he thought Abhira was wrong. He says Abhira only lost one hearing but because of him their entire family lost everything. He destroyed their dream of a happy family with his own hands while chasing his ego. Armaan emphasizes that Miara is trapped in false accusations and this is the time to fight for her. He reminds Abhira that she has fought for strangers in her career so why not fight for her own daughter?
He adds that if they lose now it will break the faith of every daughter. A case can be won by a lawyer but a daughter can only be saved by her mother.
Armaan Encourages Abhira
Abhira says the case is too complicated and she cannot handle it. She feels like she is no longer a lawyer just a machine.
Armaan replies that every mother is the first lawyer for her child. He explains that her courage may break but a mother’s instinct to protect her child should never break.
He tells her that the darkness surrounding Miara can only be removed by her like a ray of light. He expresses that for the first time he is trusting her completely and wants her to prove to the world that when a mother stands up no one can defeat her.
Abhira Miara Emotional Reunion
At the remand home Miara feels sad that neither Abhira nor Armaan came on such an important day. Just then Abhira arrives. Miara runs to her and they hug tightly crying their hearts out.
Armaan and Mukti watch the emotional moment and Armaan feels the weight of his mistakes. Miara asks if Abhira is okay. Abhira fears Miara might be angry because she couldn’t get her bail. But Miara says she trusts her completely despite her pain Abhira still fought in court so why would she be angry? Abhira thanks her and promises to get her bail very soon.
Armaan Seeks Forgiveness from Mukti
Mukti asks Armaan to take a photo of Abhira and Miara. Instead Armaan folds his hands and apologizes. He admits that because he defended Meher earlier Mukti’s father did not get justice and her mother suffered.
Mukti consoles him saying he was misled by lies. She reminds him that even Miara had apologized after learning the truth. She adds that Miara is just like him. Armaan responds that Mukti is like Abhira. Mukti praises Abhira and thanks Armaan for giving her the courage to fight for Miara. She acknowledges his sacrifices and says that finally Abhira can live happily because of Miara .
Vidya Reacts to Armaan’s Decision
Meanwhile Vidya tries calling Armaan but cannot reach him. Kaveri says that after many years Armaan is finally on the right path.
Kaveri reveals that Armaan has returned. Vidya immediately asks if Miara is fine and whether Armaan convinced Abhira to fight the case. Armaan shocks everyone by saying that Abhira will fight Miara’s case. Vidya is stunned and questions his decision fearing it is a big mistake.
However Kaveri supports him and says he has done the right thing after a long time. She gives him chocolate as a reward and everyone applauds him. Aryan explains that Kaveri giving chocolate is like giving a medal it means she is truly proud. Kaveri calls the day auspicious and Armaan becomes emotional.
Precap: Abhira starts questioning the custody papers. She wonders who actually got them made if neither she nor Armaan did.
She confronts Vidya and learns that the custody papers were made without informing Armaan. Abhira recalls that she had gone to the hospital to meet Miara and Armaan but was not allowed to meet them. She is shocked to realize that despite doing everything right this crucial truth was hidden from Armaan.
