Today’s episode begins with Abhira lighting a diya while Armaan watches Meher’s confession video. He is left completely shocked. In anger he throws his phone away.
Armaan folds his hands in front of Abhira and apologizes but says that simply saying sorry would insult her pain so he chooses silence. He expresses that he hoped his actions would help her not bring her tears. He admits that even after eight years nothing has changed she was right back then and she is right now. Eight years ago he ignored her and today the world sees Meher as the villain but in reality
Armaan breaks down further saying that perhaps he himself is a bigger culprit than Meher. He blames himself for destroying the truth justice Mukti and Miara’s childhood and everything else. He says he wants to clear Rajat’s name and give him justice but cannot escape his own guilt.
He regrets trusting Meher over Abhira not once but for eight long years. He even laughs at himself for believing Meher enough to make her his business partner, becoming friends with her letting her into his house and allowing her to spend time with Miara. He questions why he never trusted Abhira and admits that his own foolishness cost him everything.
Mittal Attack Armaan
Armaan asks Abhira not to stay silent anymore and to let out everything she has suppressed for years.
Suddenly Mittal throws a temple bell toward Armaan which is about to hit him but Abhira saves him just in time. Mittal reveals that while they are praying for his daughter’s return he has come after performing Meher’s last rites.
Mittal threatens that he will do the same to Miara that happened to Meher he will kill her. Armaan warns him to control his words saying he has remained silent only out of humanity otherwise he would have already dragged him by his tongue. Mittal continues provoking him saying Miara is in remand and he will ensure she goes to jail and her life is destroyed. He adds that when she comes out she will be like a living corpse and he will push her to death just like Meher died.
Unable to control his anger Armaan starts beating Mittal. Mittal keeps provoking him further and Abhira hears police sirens. She immediately asks Armaan to leave. Though Armaan says he isn’t affected by Mittal’s words Abhira insists they must go and takes him away.
Mittal later reveals that he had called the police to trap Armaan if Armaan had been arrested Miara’s case would have become weaker.
Abhira and Armaan Clash
Abhira explains to Armaan that Mittal was trying to trap him which is why leaving was necessary. Armaan argues that breaking Mittal’s face was more important.
Abhira tells him to calm down and reminds him that Mittal despite everything is still Meher’s father. She warns that they need to be extremely careful around him for Miara’s sake. Armaan insists that Miara should claim self-defence saying that if someone dies in self-defence the person is not called a killer. He believes that lying this way will help Miara return home faster as no one will believe she is innocent otherwise. Abhira strongly disagrees saying she believes in Miara’s truth. Armaan counters that the judge will rely only on evidence and witnesses both of which are currently against Miara.
Abhira insists that truth will ultimately help Miara and asks Armaan to trust her instincts as a mother. Armaan dismisses her sixth sense and asks her to be practical emphasizing that Miara’s life is at stake and strategy matters more than truth in court.
Vidya Blames Abhira Again
At the Poddar house the family is worried about Miara. Kaveri says she is more worried about Abhira who is not in a stable condition to handle everything.
Manisha points out the hypocrisy of the family earlier they blamed Abhira for everything while the real problem was Meher. Because of Meher, Armaan, Abhira and Miara suffered for eight years. However Vidya again blames Abhira, saying all problems in Armaan and Miara’s lives began because of her. She argues that while they were unaware of Meher’s truth Abhira rushed into decisions and brought chaos into their lives. Kaveri reminds everyone that Abhira had tried to reveal Meher’s truth eight years ago but no one listened. Vidya criticizes Abhira as a mother saying she failed her own child while trying to save someone else’s. Tanya defends Abhira saying she was trying to save a motherless child.
Madhav supports Abhira reminding the family how she stood by them in their toughest times when no one else did. Kaveri calls out their ingratitude saying there is a limit to forgiveness.
Abhira Breaks Down but Stays Determined
Abhira returns home. Mukti asks where she had gone and Abhira reveals she went to meet Miara at the remand home.
When Mukti asks about Miara Abhira hugs her and breaks down saying Miara is not okay but she called her mom which makes Mukti emotional and happy.
Despite her emotional state Abhira declares that she will not break Miara’s trust. She promises to fight like a warrior and get her out on bail.
Armaan Reveals Truth
Armaan informs the family that Abhira will fight Miara’s case as Miara herself chose her.
Sanjay questions Abhira’s ability pointing out that she has been out of practice for years. He suggests that Miara should simply claim self-defense to secure bail. Armaan reveals the real truth that Miara did not push Meher Meher slipped and fell on her own. Everyone is shocked. Sanjay argues that proving this in court will be extremely difficult and without proof Miara might be punished despite being innocent. Tanya adds that if certain events hadn’t happened the situation could have been avoided.
Vidya again questions Abhira’s capability asking whether she can truly win the case. Kaveri firmly responds that a mother does not need practice to protect her child.
Abhira Prepares for the Case
Abhira begins preparing intensely for the case. She plans to file Miara’s bail application the next morning.
She draws a map of the hostel and asks Mukti to recall every detail of the incident. Mukti remembers running around entering the matron’s office and hitting her hand on something before escaping through a window.
Abhira analyzes the evidence there are Meher’s fingerprints on the weapon and CCTV footage but some areas like the stairs and outside are unclear. Under stress Abhira snaps at Mukti then immediately realizes her mistake and apologizes.
Armaan Supports Abhira Despite Differences
Armaan arrives with law books and gives them to Abhira saying they might help her case. She thanks him and asks why he is supporting her when he disagrees with her approach.
Armaan explains that their paths are different but their destination is the same Miara’s bail. Even if he disagrees with her method he will support her in every way he can.
Precap: In court the judge asks who Miara’s lawyer is. Abhira steps forward confidently while Miara expresses complete trust in her. Abhira tells Armaan that she cannot afford to lose Miara’s trust again. Armaan responds with a powerful line a lawyer may lose a case but a mother never loses.
