Today’s episode begins with Abhira noticing that Armaan is unusually quiet and lost in thought. She tells him that she knows something is bothering him. Armaan however gets distracted when he sees Abhira’s wound and becomes concerned. He gently helps her with the dressing.
While talking Armaan indirectly asks if she is scared. Abhira admits that fear is always present. She then questions him about what he was thinking. Armaan suggests that the case is becoming complicated and if Maira says in court that she pushed Meher in self-defense she might get bail quickly.
Abhira is shocked and accuses him of asking her to lie in court. Armaan clarifies that he is not asking her to do something wrong but to protect Maira insisting that Maira is innocent. He believes that at this moment standing by their daughter is more important than strict principles.
However Abhira refuses his help. She says she has been waiting for his trust but he never trusted her before and still doesn’t. She insists that Maira trusts her and that is enough. She reminds him that they have already discussed this matter. Though she is scared and emotional she refuses to choose the wrong path.
Armaan argues that he just wants Maira to win but Abhira firmly replies that Maira will win with the truth. She asks Armaan to stay with Mayra before the hearing and give her strength assuring him that she will handle everything else.
Damyanti Create Drama Over Rituals
Meanwhile Damyanti gets angry because Disha’s first kitchen ritual has not been performed. She complains that Disha has come for post-wedding rituals yet nothing is happening.
Vidya tries to calm her saying this is not the time for rituals when Maira is in the remand home. Damyanti argues that something always goes wrong in that house. Disha refuses to perform any ritual explaining that such ceremonies should be done with happiness and until Mayra returns home no one can truly be happy.
Damyanti praises Disha’s values but also taunts the family. Manisha warns her not to create conflict so soon after the wedding. However Damyanti raises her voice leading Kaveri to intervene firmly. She warns Damyanti not to shout saying the walls of their house may be used to such noise but she will not tolerate it here.
Damyanti insists on taking Disha with her for the ritual claiming she won’t let her daughter’s new life begin with bad luck. But Aryan stops Disha holding her hand. Disha clearly states that she will not perform any ritual until Maira returns home.
Abhira Falls Into a Trap
On her way to court Abhira is tricked by a balloon seller who secretly makes her unconscious. The cab driver is also involved in the plan. Abhira starts feeling dizzy and loses control.
Meanwhile Maira becomes restless and waits anxiously for Abhira. She tells Armaan that Abhira might be unwell. Armaan tries to calm her asking her not to worry.
At the same time Mittal arrives at court with his lawyer. He receives a message confirming that the plan has worked Abhira will not reach court on time.
Courtroom Pressure Builds
Some NGO women arrive in court and inform Armaan that they will observe the entire hearing. As the hearing time approaches tension rises because Abhira is still missing.
Vidya worries whether Abhira will fight the case or abandon Mayra again. Kaveri defends her saying a mother will never fail her child. However Vidya reminds everyone of the past questioning her reliability. Madhav stops Vidya from criticizing Abhira asking her to remain quiet for once.
Abhira’s Hallucinations and Struggle
Meanwhile Abhira regains partial consciousness but starts hallucinating. She imagines people blaming her saying no child deserves a mother like her. They remind her of the past accusing her of abandoning Maira once and predicting she will fail again.
Determined Abhira insists that she will save her daughter. She finally splashes water on her face and regains full consciousness checks the time and panics.
Court Hearing Begins Without Abhira
Back in court the judge arrives and begins the proceedings. Armaan requests a delay but the process continues.
Mittal’s lawyer presents his argument. Mittal claims that Meher was supposed to marry Armaan but minutes before the wedding Maira broke the alliance ruining Meher’s life. He accuses Maira of killing Meher calling her a murderer.
The judge immediately warns him not to use such words for a minor. Mittal continues claiming Meher was innocent and that Maira pushed her to death.
Abhira’s Dramatic Entry
Just when things seem to collapse Abhira enters the courtroom and boldly counters Mittal declaring that Meher was the real culprit.
Maira feels relieved seeing her. The judge reprimands Abhira for being late but she apologizes explaining that the path of truth had many obstacles today.
Arguments and Counterarguments
Abhira argues that Meher had deceived everyone for years. Mittal’s lawyer counters by pointing out that Armaan himself had once defended Meher successfully questioning how Abhira can now call her guilty.
Abhira responds that Meher had hidden the truth earlier which is why it took time to come out. She claims that on the day of the incident Meher came with a weapon intending to harm Maira. The defense dismisses this as a fabricated story arguing that the driver was attacked from behind and cannot identify the attacker. They further claim that Maira has behavioral issues and had been expelled from several schools.
Abhira firmly states that Meher slipped while attacking Mayra and fell down the stairs.
Witness Statements Turn the Case
Mittal’s lawyer presents witness statements from the matron and guard who claim they heard Maira angrily saying Meher had no right to live. They also state that when they reached the scene Meher had fallen and Maira’s hand was extended suggesting she pushed her.
Abhira argues that no one was present on the staircase at that time but the witness statements weaken her case.
Maira’s Bail Rejected
Due to lack of solid evidence and strong witness statements the judge rejects Maira’s bail plea. She orders that Maira will remain in the remand home until the next hearing.
Abhira, Armaan and Mayra are left completely shocked and heartbroken as the truth fails to win at least for now.
Precap: In court the judge asks who Miara’s lawyer is. Abhira steps forward confidently while Miara expresses complete trust in her. Abhira tells Armaan that she cannot afford to lose Miara’s trust again. Armaan responds with a powerful line a lawyer may lose a case but a mother never loses.
