Today’s episode begins with Niyati asking Karan where he is going. Karan lies and says that he has an urgent meeting because a client has suddenly arrived. Nitya complains that Riyo has just come and Karan is leaving him alone.
Riyo says it’s not a big deal and asks them to let Karan go since his work is important. He even says he was thinking of going along with him. Nitya sarcastically tells him to go and leave her alone as no one really cares about her.
Karan then tells Riyo that he doesn’t want to feel guilty and asks him to stay back with Nitya because she has specially cooked dishes for him. Riyo agrees and says he would do anything for him but asks him to come back soon. Karan assures him and leaves.
Riyo then tries to cheer Nitya up and asks what dish she wants him to eat. This makes Nitya happy.
Mihir Worried About Tulsi
Meanwhile Mihir is worried about Tulsi. Shobha asks where Tulsi is saying she has been gone for a long time and didn’t even inform anyone. The weather is getting worse with heavy rain.
Mihir says he is also tense because Tulsi hasn’t returned yet and her phone is not reachable. Shobha decides to call her. Tulsi receives the call but becomes emotional wondering how to tell Shobha the truth about Karan. She answers the call.
Shobha asks where she is and notices that her voice sounds strange. Tulsi lies saying her throat is bad which is why her voice sounds like that. She adds that she is on her way home. Mihir asks if everything is fine. Tulsi reassures him and says she is completely okay and will be home soon. She disconnects the call.
Mihir says Tulsi is fine and will return shortly but internally feels something is wrong and wonders if she is with Karan.
Pari Decides to Remarry Aryan
Pari tells Mihir that she wants to talk to him. Mihir asks what it is. Pari recalls how Mihir had advised her to move forward in life saying that everyone needs a partner. She admits that she was being stubborn earlier by deciding to stay alone and not marry again thinking only about herself.
Now she says she has realized she must think about Garima and her future. Therefore she has decided to move on in life and is ready for marriage. Shobha and Mihir are happy with her decision.
Mihir asks if she is thinking of marrying Aryan . Pari says yes but only if Aryan agrees. Mihir assures her that Aryan will agree and they will talk to him.
Shobha feels happy but also reflects that Gautam who once plotted against Pari and even fought a case against her is now indirectly helping settle her life.
Tulsi Confronts Karan About the Truth
Tulsi deeply disturbed thinks about Ansh and then confronts Karan. She demands to know who the boy is who looks like Ansh who calls him father and who the woman with him is. She asks him to stop playing games and tell the truth.
Karan says he doesn’t know how to explain everything but admits he lied because he was helpless. Tulsi insists on knowing the truth. Karan finally reveals that the boy is Riyansh (Riyo) Ansh’s son. Tulsi is shocked and says that Ansh’s son was Eklavya so how is this possible?. Karan explains that Riyo is Eklavya’s stepbrother and that his mother is Niyati who was Ansh’s girlfriend. He reveals that Ansh never married Niyati and that Riyo is their illegitimate son.
Tulsi refuses to believe him and asks him not to lie. Karan places his hand on her head and swears that he is telling the truth. He insists that he has never taken a false oath neither on her nor on Baa and that he has always loved only Nandini and no one else.
Tulsi still questions him saying she has seen a photo in Niyati’s house where he was present as a child and Riyo calls him father. She demands a full explanation.
Karan Reveals the Truth About Niyati and Riyo
Karan explains that he never lied and begins narrating the past. He says that when he was in New York one day his car met with an accident. A woman was injured due to the collision and he immediately took her to the hospital. That woman was Niyati.
At the hospital a nurse asked him to fill in Niyati’s personal details and gave him her phone. Just then Niyati’s phone rang and he answered it. It was Neetu who was worried about Niyati. Karan informed her about the accident. Neetu rushed to the hospital.
Neetu reveals that Niyati had been suffering from depression for a long time and might have come in front of the car intentionally. She says Niyati had a partner whom she loved deeply and they had a child together but after his death her mental condition deteriorated.
Karan asks about her husband. Neetu clarifies that they were never married. Niyati got pregnant at a young age and even left her studies for the child.
She explains that the man had gone to India and used to send money every month promising to return and build a family with her. However one day they learned that Ansh had been shot dead. Karan is shocked to hear Ansh’s name.
Neetu adds that although he kept sending money his promise was false because he never returned. Now their son is ten years old. She also says Niyati never managed to contact Ansh after he went to India only letters and money came which kept her hope alive. Karan asks if she has a photo of Ansh. Neetu shows it and Karan is stunned.
Niyati’s Condition Worsens
The doctor informs them that Niyati is out of danger after surgery but is under severe stress. When they meet her Niyati in an unconscious state asks them to call her husband.
Neetu tells her he is dead but Niyati refuses to believe it and breaks down. She suffers a panic attack and doctors calm her down. After a few days Karan went to meet Niyati again at hospital and learns that her brain injury was not from the accident but from the mental shock after hearing about Ansh’s death. This caused severe trauma and memory loss.
The doctor warns that her mental state is fragile and she must not be told anything about her husband or past as it could worsen her condition.
Karan Becomes Riyo’s Father for Niyati’s Sake
Karan says that the next day he received a call from Neetu saying Niyati had regained consciousness. When he went to meet her she misunderstood him as Ansh and Niyati introduced him to Riyo as his father. Riyo happily hugged Karan.
Karan says he couldn’t reveal the truth because it would have destroyed both Niyati and Riyo’s lives. From that day on he became Niyati’s husband and Riyo’s father accepted it as destiny’s decision.
Precap: Tulsi tells Mohit about Riyo. Mihir is shocked to learn that Niyati considers Karan her husband and Riyo considers him his father. Tulsi says the time has come for this truth to reach Shantiniketan.
However Mihir warns her not to reveal everything saying that if the truth about Ansh’s death comes out they could all be seen as responsible for it.
