Today’s episode begins with Dev complaining to saloni they are a Virani only by name. In reality they are travelling by train. He says he is tired of the drama surrounding the family. Dev asks Saloni to talk to Baap Ji and tells her they are coming to Surat.
Saloni says she always longed for a family like this where people stand for each other and support one another. Dev gets frustrated and says talking to her is useless.
Damini Defends Karan
Damini tells Nandini that what she has gone through is not easy for anyone. She says they all have been part of this family for many years and she can confidently say that Karan truly loves her and always has. Damini says whatever Karan is doing now is only to reduce his guilt.
Riyo Supports Dev Against Parth
Riyo asks Dev why his mood is bad and whether Parth said something to him. Dev says that everyone around him is the same.
Riyo says that ever since he came to the house Dev is the only person he genuinely liked. He also says Parth should not get all the property alone. Dev thanks Riyo for supporting him when even his own father is not standing by him. Riyo says he understands how that feels because this family always supports the wrong person.
Parth overhears them and sarcastically says that if they are talking about him they should speak louder because he cannot hear properly. Riyo replies that he is not interested in talking to him. Karan tries to interfere but Gautam stops him by saying Riyo is already accusing everyone of bias and since he is also his son Karan should stay out of it.
He says Parth will already understand but Riyo will remain in his phase. Since he knows that Karan is not his real father he will misunderstand everything he says.
Hrithik and Munni Conversation
Sahil reminds everyone that the train will leave soon as the men leave for the trip. Hrithik notices Munni crying and asks her the reason. Munni says the house will feel empty once everyone leaves.
Saloni teasingly asks whether she is crying because the house will feel empty or because Hrithik is leaving. Tulsi says it is natural for a wife to miss her husband when he goes away. Damini agrees and teases Tulsi by saying she finally admitted that she misses Mihir too.
Tulsi jokingly says her age to miss someone has already passed. She then tells Hrithik to meet Munni properly before leaving otherwise people will blame her for interfering. After saying this she leaves.
Hrithik asks Munni to smile and tells her to take care of herself and their unborn baby. Munni tells him not to miss her too much. The couple hug each other before Hrithik leaves.
Niyati Question Nandini’s relationship
Later all the women enjoy themselves while preparing for a baby shower. Niyati asks Tulsi about Nandini’s relationship with the family. Tulsi explains that Nandini is the daughter-in-law of the house and the wife of her son.
Niyati asks which son because she recently arrived and could not recognise everyone in such a huge family. She says she has always lived alone with only Riyo and Karan beside her. Karan never told her he had such a big family. She says it feels nice to finally be surrounded by so many people. Tulsi excuses herself after hearing her.
Tulsi Tries To Reconcile With Nandini
Tulsi later approaches Nandini and tells her that she made her favourite sour curry. Nandini coldly replies that she no longer likes sour curry because her life already has enough bitterness. She says she cannot control many things in life but she can at least avoid places and situations she dislikes.
Tulsi says she understands how much pain Nandini is going through but Nandini should also try to understand her pain.
Nandini asks Munni herself to decide who is suffering more. She sadly says the most painful part is that now she has to explain her feelings because earlier Tulsi understood everything without words. Tulsi says she still understands which is why she is trying even now.
Nandini says Tulsi gave her exactly what she had asked for but now this concern feels meaningless. She compares it to applying ointment after already setting someone on fire. Tulsi emotionally says Nandini is a mother and still cannot understand why she did what she did.
Nandini replies that she will only have to understand because nobody else will. She says she is suffocating internally and she is feeling like a stranger in her own house
Munni tries to calm them down. She says both Tulsi and Nandini are mature women and both are right from their own perspectives. She admits she does not know what to say and leaves from there.
Dev Explodes at Saloni
Meanwhile Dev calls Saloni and asks her to send some of his father’s clothes. Saloni reminds him that they had already sent clothes a few days ago and asks whether it feels right to keep demanding things repeatedly.
Dev gets irritated and asks whether money is being wasted on him if he asks for something. He angrily disconnects the call. Dev feels frustrated and thinks that he is only a Virani by name. First they had to suffer the discomfort of train travel and now there is endless drama of the joint family.
Riyo asks him what happened. Dev complains about the slow train journey and says Karan wants him to go to Jamshedpur immediately after finishing the Delhi work. He questions why he should go there at all. Dev says he had dreams of luxury life not this kind of work.
He angrily points out that Parth is sitting with all the property. Riyo assures Dev that she trusts him completely and believes he will definitely get his rights. Dev says he is jealous of Parth and hates everyone in the family more than even his mother Nandini. He says he especially has problems with Munni and cousin Khushbu.
Riyo agrees and says Khushbu was trying to lecture him about the law. Dev says he will never spare her and questions who she thinks she is. Dev finally says she is not even worth discussing. Riyo also insults Khushbu and calls her disrespectful.
Munni’s Baby Shower Celebration Begins
At Shantiniketan Khushbu dances happily with Munni during the baby shower celebrations. All the women enjoy themselves except Nandini.
Munni asks Nandini to join the dance but Nandini refuses.
Munni Confides In Hrithik
During the celebration Munni receives a call from Hrithik. He tells her he is missing her. Hearing sadness in her voice Hrithik asks whether everything is alright.
Munni says Tulsi is very important to her because she is both a mother and a mother-in-law to her. At the same time Nandini is like a sister to her. She says Tulsi feels that Nandini is unable to understand her while Nandini believes Tulsi is wrong. Munni becomes emotional and says she does not know whose side she should take because she wants everything between them to become normal again.
Hrithik comforts her and says Tulsi and Nandini share a very special bond so everything will eventually become fine. He asks her not to worry.
Gautam notices Hrithik talking to Munni and teases him. He reminds Hrithik that they are on a boys’ trip and he is still busy talking to his wife. Sahil and Gautam continue teasing Hrithik playfully.
Nandini Walks Away Hurt
All the women later enjoy food together. Everyone praises the aamras prepared by Tulsi. Niyati tells Tulsi that she regrets meeting her so late because she missed experiencing such a beautiful family atmosphere for so many years.
She says Munni and Saloni are very lucky to live in such a loving household. Niyati also indirectly blames Karan for keeping her away from this family for so many years. Nandini becomes uncomfortable hearing all this and quietly leaves from there.
Tulsi gets worried but Gayatri tells her not to stress because everything will become alright soon. Gayatri asks Tulsi to sit and eat. Soon after Tulsi receives a call from Mihir and Damini immediately teases her.
Parth Calls Vaishnavi
Elsewhere Parth calls Vaishnavi. Vaishnavi says she is sitting with everyone and asks him not to get her caught.
Parth jokingly replies that if they are in love why should they fear anyone? He says he is missing her badly and accuses her of forgetting him already. Vaishnavi asks where he has reached. Parth says the train is running late but talking to her makes the journey enjoyable.
He then notices Riyo and tells Vaishnavi that Riyo is a very strange person. Riyo sees Parth from a distance and thinks that he will definitely help Dev get his rightful share of the property.
Precap: The police question Tulsi and point out that if Khushbu did not step outside the house then an outsider could not have targeted her. The culprit must be someone from inside the family itself.
Nandini says she saw how Riyo behaved with Khushbu earlier. Riyo says Khushbu herself can tell the police who harmed her. However the moment Khushbu hears Riyo’s voice she becomes terrified and screams at him to stay away from her. To everyone’s complete shock Khushbu accuses Riyo of being the one who attacked her leaving Tulsi stunned.
