Today’s episode begins with Dev speaking to his sister on the phone. He tells her that the work has been done but the matter has escalated too much and he now needs to get out of the situation. Just then Tulsi arrives. Dev immediately disconnects the call.
Tulsi confronts him and shows him a newspaper carrying the defamatory news against Saloni. She asks him directly whether he was the one who got the news published. Dev initially avoids the question saying that Parth has already informed Tulsi about everything and asks her to confirm clearly whether she believes he did it or not. Tulsi demands a straight answer yes or no. Dev admits that he did it and arrogantly asks what difference it makes now. Without hesitation Tulsi slaps him.
Dev is shocked and questions how she dared to slap him. Tulsi replies that she should have slapped him much earlier had she done that before this situation would never have arisen. She reprimands him for publicly humiliating a girl and asks if he felt no shame while destroying Saloni’s dignity in front of everyone.
Dev argues that when his own wedding was called off he too was defamed. He questions why only Saloni’s dignity matters and not his just because he is a man. Tulsi firmly responds that his dignity matters for everyone. She reminds him that even after a mistake made by his family in the past Baapji protected his respect which is why he still stands in that house today. In return Dev has publicly tarnished the honor of their family’s daughter.
Dev dismissively says that people will forget the matter in a few days. Tulsi lashes out asking whether a woman’s dignity is a toy to be crushed whenever convenient. She declares that she raised family their sons to respect women yet Dev has harassed and humiliated one. She orders him to go and apologize to everyone immediately. Dev refuses. Tulsi insists he must apologize now. When he still denies Tulsi warns that she will now take the next step herself. Dev is left stunned.
Tulsi Reveals the Truth Before the Baapji
Baapji asks whether she knew who was behind the scandal. Tulsi says they did not know earlier but now the truth is clear. She admits that she and Mihir once hid the truth about their relationship because they were helpless but what happened with Saloni was a conspiracy. She demands the strictest punishment for the guilty person and even says that if needed she herself should be punished for failing to protect the family’s values. Tulsi then reveals that it was Dev who had the defamatory news about Saloni published. Everyone is shocked.
She adds that earlier Baapji himself had said this marriage should not happen and now she agrees completely. Shobha questions how Dev could do this when he claims to love Saloni. Dev openly admits his wrongdoing.
At that moment Saloni enters and stands beside Dev. Gaurav furious grabs Dev by the collar and questions how he dared to defame his daughter. Saloni stops her father swearing on herself and requesting him to let Dev speak.
Dev’s Emotional Apology
Dev folds his hands before Baapji and admits his mistake. He says he was deeply hurt. He had dreamed of marrying Saloni and making her part of his life and family. But when he learned the wedding was being called off without his fault he lost control. He admits he acted in anger and made a grave mistake. He calls Saloni a good girl and says he never intended to hurt her. Baapji says the damage is already done. Saloni has suffered enough.
Saloni’s Unexpected Stand
Saloni asks permission to speak. She says she has always been taught that relationships are difficult to build but easy to break. She has already connected her heart to this relationship and cannot break it now. She admits she was angry but Dev came to her confessed everything honestly and sincerely apologized. Baapji himself always says that when someone truly realizes their mistake they deserve forgiveness. She believes Dev is not evil at heart and requests that the marriage not be called off.
Dev then apologizes to Mihir and Tulsi as well admitting that earlier he had refused to apologize publicly because he wanted to first seek forgiveness from Saloni. He asks Baapji to punish him however he wishes but pleads that the wedding should not be canceled because he truly loves Saloni.Baapji takes his family aside for discussion.
Noina’s Manipulative Move
In the flashback it is revealed that Noina had secretly overheard Tulsi confronting Dev about the newspaper scandal. She heard Tulsi threatening to expose everything in front of the family. Immediately after Noina approached Dev while he was panicking.
Dev anxiously tells Noina that now a huge drama will begin because Tulsi will blame him for everything. He angrily says that the elders make mistakes themselves but always vent their anger on him. He insists that whatever he did was to protect the family name and his own dignity. Noina calmly manipulates him. She tells him that the real mistake was not publishing the news the real mistake was getting caught. She warns him that Tulsi will now go in front of everyone, reveal the truth and become the great savior of the family. Meanwhile Dev will officially become the villain and not just a villain but a super villain in everyone’s eyes.
Dev nervously asks her what he should do now.
Noina suggests a calculated plan. She tells him to immediately go to Saloni before Tulsi speaks to the family. He must apologize and sincerely fold his hands show deep regret and even shed a few tears. He should say he was emotionally broken when the wedding was called off and lost his mental balance. She instructs him to remind Saloni of his love and their dreams together. Noina confidently says that since Saloni loves him she will support him in front of everyone. Once Saloni stands by him the entire family will soften. The wedding will be saved and Dev will transform from villain to hero. Dev thanks Noina for showing him the way.
In the present Noina smiles to herself and thinks that Dev is truly an excellent actor because he managed to convince everyone exactly as planned.
After deliberation Gaurav announces that although they are deeply hurt and do not approve of what happened Saloni’s heart is attached to Dev. Following Baapji’s principle that a realized mistake deserves forgiveness they agree to the wedding.
Tulsi still objects saying that even if Dev is her grandson this concerns Saloni’s entire future. Baapji responds that Saloni’s happiness matters most and preparations for the wedding will continue.
Meanwhile Shobha tells Dev that even though everyone agreed to the wedding what he did was extremely wrong. Because of his actions Hemant and Pooja were so ashamed that they could barely stand in front of others. She tells him that he must personally apologize to them as well.
Wedding Rituals and Tulsi’s Doubts
The next day the wedding rituals of Dev and Saloni take place with full traditional ceremonies. Despite everything that happened the marriage proceeds. Baapji observes Tulsi’s uneasy expression and later questions her about it. He asks why she still seems unhappy even after the wedding is successfully completed.
Tulsi replies that after knowing everything Dev did it is impossible for her to feel happy so easily. Baapji responds that at least Saloni’s marriage is happening and her happiness should matter now. Baapji also admits that he felt deeply hurt when Tulsi and Mihir hid the truth about their relationship from him earlier. Tulsi explains again that their lie was driven by helplessness. She feared that if the divorce truth were revealed too soon Shantiniketan would be lost and the family’s legacy would be destroyed. She says they could have told the truth but at that time protecting Shantiniketan felt more important.
Baapji calmly says that correcting a mistake is always in one’s own hands.
After completing all the rituals the priest announces that from this moment Dev and Saloni are officially husband and wife. He asks them to seek blessings from the elders. Dev and Saloni take blessings from everyone in the family. When they approach Tulsi she blesses Saloni warmly but looks at Dev with seriousness. She tells him that Saloni is a very precious girl and he must always protect and respect her.
Tulsi Overhears Noina’s Shocking Confession
Later after the wedding ceremonies Noina and Succhi are seen talking privately.
Noina says the entire drama has finally ended successfully. Succhi praises her cleverness and calls it a masterstroke not only did Dev and Saloni’s wedding happen but Tulsi and Mihir’s marital truth also created disturbance in the family.
Succhi admits that for a moment she was scared when everyone began investigating who published the newspaper article. Suspicion had even fallen on Noina briefly. Thankfully Pari mentioned Ranvijay’s name diverting attention. Succhi then says that if Mihir ever finds out that it was Noina who sent the court order to Baapji or that she exposed his alleged affair the consequences would be disastrous. Noina confidently responds that nothing will ever come out. Neither Mihir nor anyone else will ever learn the truth.
Unbeknownst to them Tulsi is standing nearby and overhears the entire conversation. She is completely shocked. At that moment Shobha calls Tulsi for the bidaai rituals. Tulsi remains silent, staring intensely at Noina. Realizing Tulsi has heard everything Noina becomes visibly tense.
Tulsi asks Shobha to leave them alone as she needs to speak to Noina privately. Once alone Tulsi confronts her directly and demands to know why she exposed the divorce truth to Baapji and created chaos in the family. Noina pretends innocence and asks what Tulsi is talking about.
Tulsi accuses her of deliberately revealing their marital truth knowing it could destroy Shantiniketan and break Dev and Saloni’s marriage. She says Noina did it because she fears Tulsi might return to Mihir’s life.
Noina sarcastically replies that Tulsi is intelligent enough to understand the real reason herself. She accuses Tulsi of pretending to be noble while secretly wanting Mihir back. Tulsi firmly denies it and explains again that she refused to sign the divorce papers only to buy time to save Shantiniketan.
Precap: Noina admits that although her love for Mihir is real their relationship is built on a lie. The truth is that nothing happened between her and Mihir that night and she will do anything to ensure that this lie never comes out.
