Today’s episode begins with Suchhi saying that Mihir’s Noina isn’t hiding anything. Noina responds that she was about to tell Mihir the truth but doesn’t want to burden him with every detail. She explains that this matter concerns Mitali and Hrithik their relationship isn’t going well. Mihir questions what’s so big about it since everyone already knows that Hrithik and Mitali don’t get along. Noina clarifies that while everyone knows she didn’t want to reveal it until their relationship completely broke. She didn’t want Mitali and Angad’s relationship to suffer any further.
Now however the issue also affects Timsi’s life which makes her extremely worried. She wanted to tell Mihir earlier but was under constant tension sometimes worried about divorce, sometimes about daily problems and even matters involving her Baapji at Shantiniketan. Mihir acknowledges that it’s a difficult situation but assures her that he will talk to Hrithik. He believes Hrithik is a responsible person who will never make mistakes. Mihir adds that sometimes people get trapped by their own wrong decisions, but as Virani Hrithik never shirks his responsibilities. Mihir then leaves.
Noina breathes a sigh of relief and thinks that it is good that Mihir does not know otherwise it would be her last day at this house.
Tulsi and Vrinda’s Heartwarming Moments
Meanwhile Tulsi is singing a lullaby to Angad’s children to put them to sleep. Vrinda comes in and remarks that the children had slept near her yesterday and are doing the same today. Tulsi says it’s fortunate that the children feel comfortable around her it makes her feel less lonely as if no trouble can touch her. Vrinda observes that the children didn’t sleep this closely with her out of the same affection. Angad praises Tulsi’s lullaby saying it worked for him as well when she used to sing it to him also . Tulsi tells Vrinda that she has sung lullabies for all her children Hrithik, Pari, Angad, Shobha, and Gautam. Thinking of Gautam makes Tulsi emotional.
Vrinda asks if she is worried about Gautam. Tulsi confirms and calls Shobha to check on him. Shobha explains that everything is fine and that she met Gautam who is currently asleep. Gautam Shobha informs Gautam that Tulsi wants to talk and he insists on staying calm, mentioning that his concern is mainly because of his attachment. He leaves angrily.
Shobha tells Tulsi that Gautam isn’t doing well, but he has endured a lot. Tulsi asks for details, and Shobha explains that Gautam has become very lonely, faced business losses and is financially unstable. Damini and Nakul are not supporting him which has made him bitter and hurt. The truth however is that behind his bitterness Gautam is deeply hurt broken and sorrowful. Tulsi expresses shock that Damini and Nakul left and Gautam couldn’t even call them once. Shobha agrees that he has become extremely bitter. Tulsi assures Shobha that she will handle the situation and Shobha agrees.
Mihir Meets Akshaya and Madhavi
The next morning Vrinda is in a rush with Akshaya and Madhavi. Mihir calls saying he has to go somewhere and cannot cancel his therapy session. He asks if she can come immediately. Vrinda says she can but she has the children with her and needs to drop them home first. Mihir insists she bring the children along emphasizing that it will be good for them and that she should also see how sweet the children are. If she refuses the session will have to be canceled. Vrinda finally agrees.
Vrinda arrives at Shantiniketan with Akshaya and Madhavi. Mihir completed his therapy session. Mihir asks them what they do when their mother gets angry. Madhavi humorously explains that they hide behind their father to avoid Vrinda’s scolding. Vrinda reminds Mihir to stay focused on the therapy. Mihir jokingly says that no one can save him if the vrinda will scold him Akshaya sweetly assures him Mihir Dadu (grandfather ) I’ll protect you which surprises him.
Vrinda mentions that she had asked the children to call Mihir grandfather and hopes he wouldn’t mind. Mihir smiles and says it’s fine. He asks Akshaya and Madhavi to call him grandfather together once and they happily oblige. Mihir blesses them and enjoys spending time with the children. He remarks to Vrinda that since the children are calling him grandfather it truly feels like they are his grandchildren. Vrinda becomes emotional realizing the truth in Mihir’s words and secretly clicks a photo of him with Akshaya and Madhavi.
Damini and Shobha Conversation
Meanwhile at a cafe Damini asks Shobha why she had brought her there. Shobha checks on her asking how she and everyone at home are doing. Damini says that earlier she hadn’t remembered what suddenly changed. Shobha explains that Gautam shared the struggles the children have faced and how lonely and sad they’ve become. She adds that Damini hadn’t met Gautam in a long time and without Nakul the children had suffered greatly.
Damini admits that she is relieved things are easier for them now though it was extremely difficult to survive earlier. Shobha questions why they are living separately. Damini explains that staying together didn’t help as Gautam had made many wrong decisions, suffered losses, and taken loans. While he wanted to support the children in every way he couldn’t always do so. Seeing the children suffer without help from their family left him frustrated even though he would have done anything for them.
Shobha adds that Damini is misunderstanding the situation Tulsi deeply cares for Gautam and has been worried about him. Damini insists not to talk about Tulsi having already seen how much she has done while Gautam doesn’t seem to notice. She asks directly why Damini had been brought there. Shobha requests Damini to return to Gautam explaining that without Nakul he feels broken and has lost hope. Damini responds that things have already progressed too far and questions how she can live with Gautam who can’t even manage his own family responsibilities.
Shobha reassures her that together they can find a solution but first Damini should speak to Tulsi. Damini insists that she doesn’t want to talk to anyone knowing that Tulsi isn’t at Shantiniketan and understands why. She and leaves
Mihir’s Gifts For Akshaya and Madhavi
Angad and Vrinda get Akshaya and Madhavi ready for school. Madhavi asks Angad if she will be able to see her grandfather and Angad confirms with a smile. Akshaya expresses how much she loves her grandfather while Madhavi comments on how big her house is wondering if she will ever get to see such a large home. Angad becomes emotional hearing them.
Later Madhavi calls Mihir from Vrinda’s phone Vrinda takes a call and apologizes to him. Mihir scolds her gently asking why she had the courage to take the phone emphasizing that it’s a matter between him and the children and that she should let him handle it. Vrinda and Angad feel relieved and happy seeing the situation resolved.
Mihir speaks with Akshaya and Madhavi, praising Vrinda for raising such loving and well-behaved children. He says he has brought gifts for them a cricket kit for Akshaya and a dollhouse for Madhavi which makes them extremely happy. Vrinda remarks that it wasn’t necessary. Mihir smiles and says he has become their grandfather and now they truly feel like his grandchildren. Madhavi says that he is like her Dadi which makes Mihir respond that she must meet her Dadi in person someday. Before ending the call Mihir makes a request to Vrinda when he comes next she should bring Akshaya and Madhavi along her
Angad feeling overjoyed shares his emotions with Vrinda. He says that even though he cannot meet Mihir personally Akshaya and Madhavi are receiving his love without asking. He is truly happy. Overcome with emotion Angad suggests that Vrinda should take children along with her since even if he cannot meet Mihir personally at least the children can experience the love of their extended family.
Mihir Connects the Dots
While Vrinda is conducting Mihir’s therapy session Akshaya and Madhavi start fighting. Vrinda scolds them .Mihir comments that Vrinda truly is like a principal as the children have received gifts but are making so much noise that it feels chaotic. Madhavi thanks Mihir for the gift and Akshaya touches his feet in gratitude. Mihir praises Vrinda for the values and manners she has instilled in the children. Madhavi remarks that she has never been taught so much and Akshaya adds that Vrinda tells them stories as well. At that moment Vrinda receives a call and excuses herself from Mihir.
Mihir tells the children to continue telling stories. Madhavi mentions that her favorite story is Luv-Kush. Mihir asks why it’s their favorite. Akshaya explains that it reflects their own story. Both children reveal that, like Sita Maa their mothers had left home. Mihir recalls Tulsi leaving the house. The children also explain that just as Luv-Kush didn’t meet their father they didn’t meet their grandfather either nor their mother
Mihir remembers Vrinda and Angad and the story Madhavi told him about rice and how she refers to it as Mangal Kaman Chawal. Shocked Mihir begins connecting all the pieces of how he had given Vrinda a blank cheque how he and Vrinda were pushed out of the house and now the deeper truth of the children’s situation. At that moment Akshaya’s book falls from Mihir’s hands revealing the name Akshaya Angad Virani. Mihir is stunned.
Precap: Ranvijay stops Vrinda and recognizes Akshaya and Madhavi. Mihir asks what is happening. Ranvijay tells Mihir to remove Vrinda’s mask. Mihir protests saying she does this daily. Ranvijay forcefully tries to remove her mask. Angad becomes angry and pushes Ranvijay and says that Ranvijay is a stranger. He declares that she is Angad Virani’s wife’s and they are his grandchildren and Ranvijay is the intruder.
