Actor Ahaan Panday, who recently captivated audiences with his successful Bollywood debut in the romantic film Saiyaara, has found himself at the center of social media attention after a throwback dance video featuring him and actress Vedika Pinto surfaced online. The viral clip, recorded during the wedding festivities of Ahaan’s sister Alanna Panday, shows the two young stars performing a romantic duet to the classic song Ajeeb Dastan Hai Yeh from the 1959 film Dil Apna Aur Preet Parai. Dressed in a black formal suit, Ahaan is seen sharing effortless chemistry on stage with Vedika, who wore a golden lehenga as the crowd cheered for their synchronized and lively performance. The spontaneous act, which reportedly mimicked the real-life love story of the bride and groom, immediately sparked widespread discussion among netizens who praised their sparkling dynamic and magnetic screen presence.
The timing of the video’s emergence has amplified public interest as both actors are currently riding high on career milestones. While fans of Saiyaara have consistently championed the screen pairing of Ahaan Panday and his co-star Aneet Padda, this newly recirculated dance footage led many users to draw direct comparisons between the two dynamics. Social media platforms were quickly flooded with comments from fans admiring the effortless rapport between Ahaan and Vedika, with several users declaring that the duo possessed exceptional chemistry and expressed enthusiasm to see them cast together in a future romantic comedy. Some viewers even jokingly pointed out how their connection appeared so strong that it rivaled his popular on-screen relationship with Aneet, while others playfully referred to them using a blend of their respective character names, Sudha from Musafir Cafe and Krish from Saiyaara.
Beyond the social media excitement surrounding the dance video, both performers are currently experiencing significant momentum in the Indian entertainment industry. Vedika Pinto has earned widespread acclaim for her performance as Sudha in the Netflix romantic series Musafir Cafe alongside Vikrant Massey and Mahima Makwana, a project that was recently renewed for a second season following strong viewership and audience engagement. Prior to her OTT success, she built her portfolio through notable appearances in films like Operation Romeo, Gumraah, and Nishaanchi. Meanwhile, Ahaan Panday continues to consolidate his position as one of Bollywood’s promising young leading men following his breakthrough in Saiyaara, and he is currently preparing for his next major cinematic project, an untitled action-drama directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and co-starring Sharvari. As fans continue to celebrate the viral clip, the unexpected pairing of Ahaan and Vedika has left audiences eager to see if filmmakers will pair them together on the big screen in the near future.
