Today’s episode begins with Gaurav saying that the most shameful thing is that while they were welcoming their daughter-in-law into the house the head of the family Mihir was living with another woman. Everyone is left shocked and speechless.
In a flashback it is revealed that Niona disguised her voice and called Gaurav’s wife. She told her that she had no personal problem with the Virani family but since she also has a daughter she did not want her daughter to marry into the wrong house. She informed her that Mihir had been living in Shantiniketan for the past six years with other woman and that woman was not Tulsi. Saying it was her duty as a human being to inform them she left the final decision to them.
Back in the present Gaurav’s wife says they should be thankful to that unknown woman who at least fulfilled her moral duty and told them the truth.
Mihir worries about how he will answer Hemant and Pooja when they arrive the next day. Baap ji says that if he could lie so easily he should also be able to give answers. Mihir insists he was going to tell them everything and asks them to trust him.
Baapji questions him angrily what exactly was he planning to tell? That Tulsi was never the daughter-in-law of this house? Or that he was living with another woman? Or that he had thrown his elder son out of the house and that his daughter had been divorced twice? Baapji says Tulsi has broken the trust of Govardhan and Amba too and humiliated them.
Gaurav adds that in their family they look at name and values not spy on people. Since it is the Virani family they trusted blindly. Baapji says he was proud of his ability to judge people but Tulsi turned out to be like everyone else and lied for money.
Tulsi’s Emotional Confession
Tulsi clarifies that she did not lie for money but to protect Baapji and Baa’s heritage. She reveals that she had left the house six years ago and did not return out of greed but out of fear that there was no other way to save the ancestral property. She says they all know Baapji’s strict rule once he decides something he does not change his mind. They were scared that if the truth came out the property would be auctioned publicly.
However,she makes it clear that there was no selfish motive behind fixing Dev and Saloni’s alliance. She genuinely found Saloni to be a good girl and believed it would be their good fortune if she became the daughter-in-law of their house. Tulsi requests them not to break Dev and Saloni’s engagement. She promises to arrange the money and repay everything but pleads that the relationship should not be ended.
Saloni’s Truth and Gaurav’s Final Decision
Saloni reveals that she already knew the truth when she went to Mumbai. Gaurav questions why she did not tell anyone. Baiju says Saloni was also trapped in their lie. Gaurav’s wife asks why she stayed silent. Gaurav finally declares that the wedding will not happen.
Dev reacts angrily saying how can the wedding be cancelled just like that? He says it is not his fault that they were trying to save Shantiniketan. Niona take Dev outside.
Shobha suggests waiting for Hemant and Pooja to arrive before making a final decision. Baapji says until then they will stay in the guest house because despite everything they cannot misbehave with guests.
Dev’s Ego and Niona’s Manipulation
After Gaurav declares that the wedding will not happen Dev completely loses his temper. He says no one has the right to cancel his marriage. If the wedding breaks it will only be because he refuses not because anyone else decides it.
Outside the house Noina try to calm him down. However Noina cleverly manipulates the situation. She tells Dev that this marriage was a golden opportunity for him. If he had married Saloni he could have joined Baapji’s business empire. She adds that Tulsi ruined everything by confessing the truth unnecessarily.
Noina questions Tulsi’s decision and says that when Baapji asked about the divorce Tulsi could have denied it. Instead, she exposed everything and destroyed Dev’s future. She emphasizes that Dev has been insulted in front of his friends and society.
Dev feels deeply humiliated. He says this is the first time in his life that he has faced such public embarrassment. He insists that society will not blame him. Instead people will question the girl’s character. He says if the wedding breaks the world will assume there was something wrong with Saloni maybe an affair or some hidden issue.
Inside Niona acts emotional She also pretends to feel emotional inside the house later acting as if she is worried about Shantiniketan’s future. Meanwhile Tulsi clearly says that at this moment she is more concerned about Dev and Saloni’s broken relationship than about money. Mihir says that even if they have to work day and night they will save Shantiniketan by earning honestly.
Shobha raises an important question how did the court order reach Baapji despite their precautions? She also questions how the other woman truth was revealed. She directly suspects Noina. Everyone turns to look at her.
Noina gets defensive and lashes out at Shobha for accusing her. She says if she wanted to expose them she would have done it earlier. She argues that Shantiniketan is important to her as well even more now because she lives there. She reminds everyone that she supported Mihir and Tulsi in their drama.
Pari then suggests that Ranvijay could be behind this as he knows everything and can go to any extent. Tulsi stops the argument and says instead of fighting they should think about what to tell Hemant and Pooja when they arrive.
Dev’s Dangerous Plan
However Dev has already made his decision. He clicks a photo with Saloni and uploads it on social media announcing that the wedding has been cancelled. Then he calls his friend and asks him to contact media sources in Surat through his uncle. Dev instructs him to spread a rumor that Saloni was having an affair and that he broke the marriage after discovering it.
His friend asks if he actually liked Saloni. Dev admits he did but he loves his reputation more. He clearly says the blame should not come on him. The news must be published in newspapers the next morning so that everyone believes the problem was with Saloni.
The Newspaper Scandal
The next morning Tulsi is praying when Shobha enters with newspapers in her hand. She says that things were already bad but now something worse has happened. She shows Tulsi the headline. The newspaper falsely claims that Saloni had an affair and that Dev refused to marry her after discovering the truth.
Tulsi is completely shocked. Mihir is equally stunned when Gaurav arrives angrily with the newspaper and questions him. Gaurav says despite committing such a big mistake they were treated with respect as guests but this is how they repaid them. Mihir says he does not know how this happened. Gaurav tells him that whatever explanation he has he should give it in front of Baapji.
Saloni’s brother is seen explaining the situation to the media. Calls start flooding in but Gaurav refuses to answer any of them. Dilip points out that everywhere the news is spreading that Dev rejected the marriage. Baapji sternly questions Mihir about how this news reached the media. Noina silently feels happy thinking her plan is working perfectly and now Mihir and Tulsi will suffer the consequences.
Gaurav says that whether it is a lie or truth society will believe what is printed. Who will marry Saloni now after such public humiliation?
Amid the chaos Hemant arrives. He admits that he made a big mistake by hiding Mihir and Tulsi truth . He says he is ashamed and apologizes sincerely. However he clearly states that regarding the newspaper scandal about Saloni’s character his family has no involvement. They did not leak any news.
Gaurav reacts sharply. He says lawyers are very smart and know how to twist situations. He accuses them of being manipulative and pretending to be innocent. He admits that trusting them was his biggest mistake.
Parth Confronts Dev
Meanwhile Parth starts connecting the dots. In a flashback he remembers Dev’s earlier conversation where Dev had expressed fear that society would blame him.
In the present Parth confronts Dev privately. He asks him directly whether he leaked the news. Dev initially denies it and says no one cares about his humiliation. Parth reminds him that Saloni and her entire family are suffering because of this false rumor. Mihir and Tulsi are also facing accusations. He demands that Dev tell the truth. Dev eventually reacts emotionally and says that all this happened because of Mihir and Tulsi’s lies. He refuses to accept full responsibility and walks away angrily.
The Truth Comes Out
Mihir assures Baapji that no one from their family could do something so low. Tulsi confidently says she guarantees that no member of their family would stoop to such behavior.
Baapji declares that whoever is behind this will not be spared once the truth comes out.
Finally Parth gathers courage and reveals the truth to Tulsi Dev is the one who leaked the news to protect his own image. Tulsi is left completely shocked.
Precap: Tulsi confronts Dev about the newspaper scandal. Dev admits the truth. In a moment of anger and disappointment Tulsi slaps him. Meanwhile Succhi and Niona worry that if Mihir finds out that Niona sent the court papers to Baapji and revealed Mihir’s affair there will be serious consequences. Tulsi overhears their conversation eaving Niona stunned.
