Today’s episode begins on an emotional note as Hemant folds his hands before Tulsi pleading with her to stop. He tells her that if she leaves the house everything will fall apart. She is the one who has held the family together the very foundation of the house. He begs her not to take such a step.
Tulsi firmly responds that she has had enough. She questions why the entire responsibility of holding relationships together always falls on her alone. She says it feels as if society expects her to be a great woman who erases her own existence just to keep a family united but she no longer wants that role. Tulsi declares that she wants to live the rest of her life peacefully, with her head held high, without betrayal. She warns that if she is forced to stay she will remain in the house like a living corpse. After giving everything to everyone she now wants to live for herself and stand on her own feet. She makes it clear that the house the relationshipsnand even Mihir are no longer hers.
Family Divides
Kiran supports Tulsi stating that she is absolutely right and should not be stopped. Hemant however loses his temper and accuses Kiran of trying to break the house. Kiran fires back saying that Mihir chose someone else not once but twice which clearly shows he does not want this marriage. Mihir may not be able to say it aloud due to shame but the truth remains that he is unhappy. This does not mean he disrespects Tulsi but he cannot see her broken anymore.
The argument escalates until Hrithik and Sahil step in to stop the fight. Tulsi watches her family falling apart and though it pains her she refuses to let her self-respect be crushed again.
Gayatri Takes a Stand for Tulsi
Gayatri intervenes and tells Hemant and Kiran that whatever happened is between Mihir and Tulsi so they should stop fighting. She adds that if Tulsi wants to leave and live her own life she has every right to do so and should be allowed to go.
Kiran then states that Tulsi will not leave empty-handed as Mihir has transferred everything in her name. Hemant sarcastically supports this reminding everyone that Tulsi never cared about money or property even when she went to jail in Mihir’s place. if Tulsi leaves she should do so without taking anything.
Tulsi calmly says that she will take everything that truly belongs to her. Gayatri questions how a housewife can decide what is hers. Tulsi replay how a housewife runs the entire home raising children, caring for elders, worrying about everyone yet has no financial independence and is constantly insulted because she does not earn. She says she will calculate what is hers and she wants it all.
Tulsi Demands Her Lost Life
Mihir admits that Tulsi is right and says that she has the first and only right over all the family’s wealth. Property papers are brought showing that Mihir has transferred everything factories, industries, and assets to Tulsi. However Tulsi shocks everyone by saying that what she wants is not written in those papers.
She asks whether money can return the time she lost the memories now tainted by betrayal, her identity she erased for Mihir, or the faith and prayers she once offered with a pure heart. She asks for her dignity, her stolen self, and her broken trust to be returned if money can buy all that.
Saying this Tulsi tears the property papers apart. She tells Mihir to keep the wealth, factories and money. What truly belongs to her in this house she will take herself.
A Quiet Goodbye
Tulsi takes Lord Krishna’s idol from the temple along with Baa and Savita’s photographs remembering their words. Hrithik holds her feet and begs to go with her but Tulsi gently refuses saying this is the first time she wants to move forward alone.
As she walks out Tulsi stops near the sacred tulsi plant recalling Baa’s teachings. She takes a handful of soil from the courtyard in her saree’s pallu and leaves the house with dignity.
Precap: A New Beginning Six years later Tulsi is seen starting a new life living with Angad and Vrinda. Tulsi looks at Mihir photograph and reflects that the relationship he trusted the most was the one he broke. Mihir wonders if some relationships are meant to be broken and perhaps time itself wanted this separation.
