Today’s episode begins with Bhanu revealing in front of everyone that Rajji has taken up a job as a waiter at the restaurant. Everyone is left shocked. Bhanu angrily says that the family is living off Rajji’s earnings
Vidya questions Rajji reminding her that she was supposed to be at college and asks why Bhanu is saying such things. Bhanu lashes out at Vidya telling her to stop pretending and accusing her of being unaware of what is happening in her own house. She taunts her saying she doesn’t even know what her children are doing right under her nose or where her daughter-in-law goes.
Rajji Defends Her Decision
Rajji firmly states that taking the job was her own decision and questions Bhanu for interfering in her family matters. Bhanu however continues insulting Mahadev and his family. She accuses them of making Rajji work as a waiter and questions their values saying Mahadev gives lectures on values but is forcing his daughter-in-law into such work.
She even adds that if there was a financial problem they could have asked her and she would have given money. Dheeraj tries to stop Bhanu but she threatens him to stay quiet. She insults him further questioning his capability as a husband and accusing him of living off his wife’s earnings without shame.
Rajji again clarifies that she is working by her own choice and that neither Dheeraj nor his family is at fault. But Bhanu refuses to listen and claims that Rajji was not raised to do a waiter’s job. She accuses the family of intentionally humiliating her by making Rajji do such work. She says people in the entire town of Hardoi are talking about how Bhanu’s daughter has become a waiter.
Bhanu declares that Rajji will not continue this job and must quit immediately.
Rajji Chooses Her New Family
Rajji refuses to quit. She says that before being Bhanu’s daughter she is now the daughter-in-law of this family. She adds that if her actions create a scene it affects this house . However she also makes it clear that no one in this family would have stopped her if they had known earlier because they understand her.
She firmly tells Bhanu that even she cannot stop her. Bhanu responds that she will continue to interfere whenever she wants. Before leaving Bhanu threatens Mahadev that if Rajji does not quit the job she will destroy him and his entire family. She hugs Rajji emotionally and leaves.
Family Questions Rajji’s Decision
After Bhanu leaves Rajji becomes emotional and apologizes to Vidya. Mahadev asks Rajji if she was facing any financial issues needed college fees, or had any other problem why didn’t she tell the family?
Rajji denies having any such problem. Mahadev gets angry and questions why she needed to take up a waiter job especially when it brought Bhanu there to insult them. He reminds everyone that he didn’t want any drama until Ashish’s wedding is completed. Ketan also questions Rajji’s need to work. However Narmada supports Rajji and asks why she cannot work if she wants to stand on her own feet. Ketan shuts her down saying Rajji was being questioned not her.
Vidya advises Rajji to first complete her college education and then think about a job.
The Real Reason Behind Rajji’s Job
Rajji then reveals the real reason Dheeraj also wants to work. Everyone is shocked. She explains that even though Dheeraj is still in college he is looking for a job so he doesn’t have to depend on his family. That is why she also wants to work so neither of them has to depend on anyone not even on each other.
Ashish asks Dheeraj if this is true and he confirms it. He says he wants to take responsibility for himself and his wife and stand on his own feet. Ketan argues that they started working only after finishing college.
Mahadev’s Final Decision
Mahadev firmly declares that Rajji will not go to work from the next day and calls it his final decision. Rajji apologizes but refuses to quit her job.
Dheeraj intervenes and tells Rajji not to cross limits. He supports Mahadev and says she will not go to work. Rajji responds strongly saying she does not need him to speak on her behalf she can speak for herself. She respectfully tells Mahadev that she does not want to disrespect him but she will continue her job. She then leaves.
Bhanu’s Anger Continues at Home
At Bhanu’s house she complains that Rajji has completely taken Mahadev’s side and become her enemy. Radha explains that Rajji is now part of her marital family and is standing by them because of the values she has been given.
Bhanu dismisses marriage altogether saying she will never marry. Yash suspects that Rajji might be in some kind of trouble otherwise she wouldn’t suddenly start working. But Bhanu insists she knows Rajji well and accuses her of being selfish saying she has forgotten her old family after getting a new one.
Dheeraj and Rajji’s Conflict
Dheeraj scolds Rajji for the way she spoke to Mahadev and questions why she is going against him. Rajji says she wants to stand by her decision and continue working.
Dheeraj reminds her that this is Mahadev’s house and things happen according to his wishes. If Mahadev has said no then she cannot work. He also brings up their forced marriage, saying it was not a love marriage and he hasn’t forgotten that. He ends the discussion by saying she will not go to work.
Narmada vs Ketan
Ketan questions Narmada about why she supported Rajji. Narmada argues that it is not wrong for a woman to work and asks who Ketan is to decide whether Rajji should work or not.
Ketan claims that Mahadev has already made the decision and no one questions him. He accuses Narmada of having her own motives, suggesting that she is pushing the topic because she herself wants to work.
Mahadev Clarifies His Stand
Mahadev steps in and clarifies everything. He scolds Ketan for speaking disrespectfully to Narmada. He makes it clear that he never said women in the house cannot work. His only objection is that Rajji is trying to work before completing her college education.
He states that once she finishes her studies she can work. He also gives Narmada permission to resume her job if she wants saying no one will stop her. He warns everyone to maintain respect in the house.
Narmada gets emotional hugs Mahadev and calls him the best father and father-in-law.
Vidya’s Emotional Breakdown
Later Narmada informs Vidya that Mahadev has allowed her to work and even blessed her like his own daughter. However she notices Vidya crying.
Vidya reveals her pain saying that while others are happy she feels responsible for all the problems in the house. She says Dheeraj wanted to help in Ashish’s wedding preparations but Mahadev stopped him and now everyone blames her.
She feels that in trying to protect her maternal family’s respect she has suffocated her own home. She decides to tell Mahadev the truth that she supported Dheeraj and Rajji’s marriage. She hopes that this will end Mahadev’s anger toward Dheeraj.
Narmada warns her that revealing this truth could worsen her relationship with Mahadev but Vidya is ready to take the risk.
Vidya Confesses Her Secret to Mahadev
Vidya goes to Mahadev and saying that she wants to tell him something important. Mahadev replies that she has come to talk about Dheeraj and Rajji’s marriage and asks if she really thinks he doesn’t know anything. He says he already knows that their marriage is not a love marriage and that everything about it is hidden.
Vidya apologizes and says she was very scared at that time. She explains that Rajji had been arrested by the police and to save her and protect the family’s respect she forced Rajji into marrying Dheeraj. She admits that she did it out of helplessness.
Mahadev responds that she cannot deny what she has done. He says that the strength of their relationship was always honesty as they never lied to each other but now she has started lying. He adds that she has lied so much that now he doubts whether she has ever told him the truth at all.
Vidya asks how he found out and who told him. Mahadev says that even a blind person could see that Rajji and Dheeraj do not love each other. They fight constantly so how can it be called a love marriage? He says he suspected from the very beginning that Rajji was not working to support Dheeraj but to make him feel indebted. He accuses both of them of hating each other and blames Vidya as the biggest culprit for uniting two enemies which could destroy not just this house but another one as well.
Vidya falls at his feet and begs for forgiveness. She says she didn’t understand anything at that time and took that step only to save Rajji’s life. Mahadev says just like she had to take that step then now she may have to face consequences. He imagines breaking her mangalsutra but it turns out to be Vidya’s dream.
Mahadev’s Doubts Continue
Mahadev asks Vidya where she is lost. He says it doesn’t seem like Dheeraj and Rajji love each other. Instead they fight and might even create a big problem together. He adds that he did the right thing by keeping Dheeraj away from Ashish’s wedding preparations otherwise both Dheeraj and Rajji would have ruined everything.
He says his decision is already showing results as Dheeraj has started looking for a job. Mahadev then gets a call from Laju who asks him to meet at the temple the next morning to fix Ashish and Mogra’s wedding date. Mahadev agrees and tells Vidya to start the preparations. Vidya becomes tense thinking about her dream.
Drama at Bajpyee House
At the Bajpyee house Bhanu is practicing dance when Maddy watches her mesmerized and tries to record a video. Bhanu tells him to delete it but Maddy says he couldn’t even record properly because he got lost watching her.
Bhanu asks him to leave but Maddy says Radha called him. Radha scolds Bhanu for her behavior and informs her that Maddy will stay at their house for a few days. Bhanu reminds her of what happened last time with Maddy. Radha insists that he is a guest and Bhanu must behave properly.
Bhanu says she is only staying quiet because of Radha otherwise she wouldn’t tolerate him. Maddy comments that at their age people need a partner and suggests she should think about it.
Maddy then meets Yash and says that Yash judged him too quickly last time. He claims that he has changed over time and becomes a better person after his divorce. Yash sarcastically replies that it’s good he has turned from an animal into a human but says Maddy still doesn’t have the status to sit with him.
Rajji and Dheeraj’s Argument About Work
Rajji gets ready for work and Dheeraj says he hopes she is not agreeing just for a job. Rajji tells him not to order her and instead explain why she shouldn’t work. She questions whether he has any job, interview, or plan and says at least if one of them works they can manage expenses.
She reminds him that if Mahadev hadn’t let them stay they wouldn’t even have a place to live. She clarifies that she is not pretending but thinking practically. Dheeraj says he doesn’t know how but he will find a job today. Rajji replies that if he fails he should not stop her from working from the next day.
Dheeraj Returns Mahadev’s Gift
Ashish asks Dheeraj to come to the temple for wedding preparations but Dheeraj refuses saying he has work. Vidya ask about Rajji he lies that Rajji is unwell.
Dheeraj returns Mahadev the bike keys saying the bike belongs to him since Mahadev gave it. Mahadev accepts the keys. In a flashback we see Mahadev gifting that bike to Dheeraj when he was waiting for a friend to pick him up for college.
In the present Dheeraj leaves and Vidya feels emotional. Mahadev and the family leave for the temple.
Yash and Bhanu Grow Suspicious
Yash and Bhanu watch them leave. Bhanu says they must be going to meet Ashish’s in-laws for wedding preparations. Yash says he has tried to find out about the family but couldn’t get any information. He finds it strange that such a good match appeared out of nowhere. Bhanu wonders where Mahadev found this alliance.
Precap: Narmada tells Mogra that Rajji revealed everything about her and Sikandar she asks Mogra if she met Sikandar after her kidnapping. Mogra is shocked. Meanwhile Dheeraj struggles while working and falls but Vidya fails to notice him.
