Television actress Saanvie Tallwar has made serious allegations of harassment and physical assault against her former co-star Karan Kundrra, recounting a distressing incident from the sets of their 2015 TV show Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum. In a recent media interview, Saanvie revealed that during the filming of a sequence where Karan was supposed to kiss her and she was scripted to slap him, the actor kissed her before the director had even clapped the action, crossing professional and personal boundaries without her consent. Reacting immediately to the unwanted touch, Saanvie slapped him on the spot, after which Karan temporarily walked away. However, she stated that he returned shortly after and slapped her hard, causing her to fall to the floor, before hurling verbal abuse at her and her family. She further recalled that no one from the cast or crew stepped forward to support her during the immediate aftermath of the altercation.

Elaborating on the broader atmosphere on set, Saanvie shared that tensions had already been brewing because she preferred maintaining distance and staying reserved during work hours, which reportedly angered both Karan and the show’s director. Sensing that Karan had personal interest in her despite being in a relationship with Anusha Dandekar at the time, Saanvie had reached out to common acquaintances to inform his then-girlfriend about her discomfort. According to the actress, this action led to increased monitoring on sets and created a toxic environment where she faced persistent hostility. Saanvie claimed that the situation eventually improved only after producer Ektaa Kapoor personally stepped in, apologized on Karan’s behalf, and ensured a safer working dynamic, which included replacing the director involved in the incident.

As these explosive statements circulate across social media and entertainment platforms, they have sparked intense online discussions regarding actor safety, professional boundaries, and conduct on television sets. Despite the severe nature of the allegations regarding the past incident, Saanvie noted that looking back she holds no personal malice, while emphasizing the importance of respecting consent in any workplace setting. Meanwhile, Karan Kundrra and his team have not publicly issued an official statement or responded to the claims.
