Today’s episode begins with Benazir telling Seher that she is reminded of Gazala. She says that if Gazala were alive she would have been very proud of her daughter-in-law. Seher asks if she is talking about Mahid’s mother leaving Mahid shocked. Hearing this he drops the guava in his hand.
Seher notices the fruits and wonders how they reached there since they were with Mahid. She spots his shadow and realizes he is nearby. She thinks that hearing Gazala’s name must be painful for Mahid but Benazir is speaking positively about her which might give him some comfort.
Seher Questions Benazir About Gazala
Seher deliberately asks Benazir how she knew Mahid’s mother. Benazir shares that they first met at a bookshop. Gazala had recently moved to Lucknow after marriage and was preparing for her 12th exams. She used to visit the shop for study guides.
Gazala once suggested that instead of guides she will help her studying literature properly Because of Gazala’s guidance Benazir scored a distinction in literature. She adds that Gazala used to secretly visit the dargah to teach her and spending time with her felt peaceful. She describes Gazala as extremely kind-hearted.
Mahid hearing all this becomes emotional and recalls memories of his mother.
Truth About Gazala
Seher says she had heard something completely different about Gazala at Niyazi Manzil. Benazir insists that Gazala was a good woman and whatever she is today is because of her. She doesn’t understand why people spread false stories about her.
Seher reflects that a woman who stands for others is often the first to be blamed. Benazir adds that Gazala was deeply troubled in those days which might be why she ended her life but she cannot believe that Gazala would ever run away with someone. She loved her son Mahid deeply and thought of no one else.
Benazir then says she needs to take her daughter to the hospital for a check-up. Seher gets worried that Mahid might be nearby and sends them out through the back door. Mahid thinks that for the first time he is hearing someone praise Gazala whereas he has always hated her.
Safia and Parvez Argue About Munnira
Meanwhile Safia stops Parvez and scolds him for not dressing properly. Parvez says he came in a hurry because of Kausar. He reveals that Kausar has gone to earn money and might succeed but he worries about how he will find Munnira .
Safia questions Parvez action Parvez explains that if Seher and Kausar had reached Niyazi Manzil Mahid wouldn’t have spared him and he would have lost money too.
Safia asks him to go to the hospital and find out about Munnira. Parvez admits that he left Munnira in the hospital parking area and doesn’t know where she is now or who took her. Safia says someone must know as abandoning a child like that is not easy. She urges him again to go and inquire.
Mahid Avoids Seher
Seher stands near Mahid to emotionally support him but Mahid notices her presence and walks away.
Fatima and Husna Argument
At Niyazi Manzil Fatima says that relationships should not be forced under pressure. She decides to go to Nazima’s aunt’s house and asks Husna to stop misleading Nazima.
Husna taunts her saying she had supported her earlier. Fatima firmly states that she will not let her daughter’s dignity be compromised. Husna argues that if Nazima goes to her aunt’s house many questions will arise.
She adds that whatever happened between Mahid and Nazima was a drama only they know about but the world doesn’t. If the truth comes out no one will marry Nazima. Fatima says only Mahid and Nazima know what happened and Mahid would never disgrace his family publicly. Nazima will also remain silent.
Husna warns that even walls have ears and the truth will eventually come out so it is better to get Mahid and Nazima engaged.
Seher Reaches the Dargah
Meanwhile Seher goes to the dargah to retrieve her phone. She worries that if Kausar finds out she might think Seher came for her own reasons rather than concern.
Seher calls Kausar who says she is at Barkat’s place to discuss work. Seher asks her to return soon. She then recalls Ikra mentioning her missing precious chain and decides to search for it.
Seher Suspects the Magician’s Secret Room
Seher remembers the magician’s attack and recalls that when she went to the terrace Ikra was also there. She notices another door beside the terrace door and suspects that the magician might have taken Ikra there and the chain could have fallen in that area.
At the same time Mahid prays and remembers Gazala. He also thinks of finding Ikra’s chain and returning it. Mahid notices a torn piece of Seher’s dupatta and wonders why she is there.
Amal’s DNA Truth Brings Relief
Elsewhere Fareed returns home where Amal has received the DNA report. She looks scared but Fareed says he has something important to discuss.
Amal insists the report is more important. Sultana interrupts saying if Amal trusts the report more than them she can choose her own path. Fareed adds that the situation is complicated.
Amal says their behavior made it seem like she was not their daughter so she got the DNA test done. After reading the report she becomes emotional and happy realizing that Sultana is indeed her mother. She apologizes for doubting them and Fareed feels relieved.
Seher Finds the Gazala’s Diary
Mahid follows some footprints and finds Ikra’s chain then leaves. Meanwhile Seher discovers a hidden diary among stones. She is shocked to learn that it belongs to Gazala. Reading it she finds that Gazala described Niyazi Manzil as a luxurious cage where she felt imprisoned.
Gazala wrote that she could have escaped but stayed because of Mahid. She feared that the family would never let her take Mahid with her. The diary also reveals a dangerous conspiracy people were trying to silence her and if she didn’t obey they wouldn’t hesitate to kill her.
Seher realizes that Mahid believed Gazala committed suicide but in reality someone wanted to murder her. She notices that many pages of the diary are torn and suspects someone deliberately removed them to hide the truth.
She fears that the same person might be behind the attack on Mahid during the farmhouse iftar.
Precap: Seher disguises herself as a servant to uncover the truth. Mahid stops her and questions why she is carrying his clothes. Seher gets scared fearing she might be caught.
