Shah Rukh Khan to Battle 10 Russian Fighters in Mumbai Action Schedule for King

Bollywood’s “King,” Shah Rukh Khan, is once again ready to push the boundaries of Indian action cinema. Reliable sources from the industry have confirmed that the superstar is set to begin a high-stakes, week-long action schedule for his upcoming film, King, starting tomorrow, March 23, 2026.

The sequence, which is being touted as one of the most physically demanding of Khan’s recent career, will see him facing off against 10 elite Russian fighters in a brutal, close-quarters combat scene.

The Location: A Gritty Industrial Backdrop
Director Siddharth Anand, known for his slick visual style in Pathaan and Fighter, has opted for a more grounded and “raw” aesthetic for this particular project. A massive, specialized set has been erected at the Golden Tobacco Studios in Vile Parle, Mumbai.

Production insiders reveal that the set recreates an abandoned, dilapidated mill, complete with rusted machinery and dark corridors. Unlike the polished, CGI-heavy action seen in many modern blockbusters, the vision for King is to deliver “hand-to-hand, bone-crunching realism.”

International Collaboration for Authenticity
To ensure the choreography meets international standards, the production team flew in a squad of 10 professional stuntmen and martial artists from Russia. These fighters have reportedly been stationed in Mumbai for nearly three weeks, undergoing rigorous rehearsals to perfect the complex “one-vs-many” choreography.

“The goal is to make the audience feel every hit,” says a source close to the stunt department. “Shah Rukh has been deeply involved in the prep. He wants this fight to look less like a movie dance and more like a desperate, high-stakes brawl.”

A Star-Studded Cinematic Event
While the action is the current focus, King is drawing massive attention for its ensemble cast and the debut of a new generation of talent:

The Debut: The film marks a major milestone as Suhana Khan takes on a central role alongside her father.
The Antagonist: Abhishek Bachchan is rumored to play a sophisticated and menacing villain, providing a sharp contrast to Khan’s character.
The Scale: With a background score by the viral hit-maker Anirudh Ravichander and songs by Sachin–Jigar, the film is being positioned as a global cinematic event.

Following the conclusion of this “Russian showdown” schedule, the team is expected to transition into a grand musical sequence next month to balance the film’s intense tone.
King is currently slated for a worldwide theatrical release on December 24, 2026, aiming to dominate the lucrative Christmas holiday window. To know such
