Today’s episode begins with Karan apologizing to Mihir saying that he spoke harshly to him in anger and regrets what he said. Mihir replies that Karan did not actually hurt him with his words. Instead he reveals that for years he has been blaming himself wondering why so many unfortunate things happened in his life.
Karan tells him that there is no point in remembering the past anymore. Whatever happened has already happened. He also says that it is good that Mihir removed Niona from both the house and his life forever. Angad agrees and says that the way Niona was thrown out of the house it seems unlikely that she will ever think about returning. However Karan says there is still one thing he cannot understand why Tulsi has not come back yet.
Nandini Supports Tulsi’s
Nandini responds that for the first time in her life Tulsi has made the right decision for herself. She adds that everyone should learn from her and start thinking about themselves as well.
Mihir also supports Tulsi’s decision. He says that Tulsi has always put the family and the children ahead of her own happiness which is why she now deserves the chance to think about herself. He says that he will not insist that Tulsi return home immediately. Shantiniketan is her home and she can come back whenever she wants. Mihir adds that he will give her all the time she needs but he also will not stop trying to win her back.
Nandini then indirectly taunts Karan saying that at least Mihir is trying unlike some people who stop making efforts altogether. Shobha suggests that they should leave now but Nandini replies that she still has somewhere else to go before leaving.
Mitali Demands Full Custody of Tismi
Later Hrithik meets Mitali who says that everyone has found out about his plan to marry Munni the housemaid of the house. Hrithik immediately corrects her and says that Munni is not a housemaid she is a collector now. He tells Mitali to get straight to the point if she has something important to discuss.
Mitali then reveals that she is unhappy with the current joint custody arrangement for Tismi. Hrithik says he already knows she is unhappy and assumes he wants full custody of Tismi .
To his shock Mitali confirms that she indeed wants full custody of their daughter. She argues that mothers usually get custody and once Hrithik remarries his new wife may not care for Tismi properly.
Hrithik counters that Mitali has never truly cared for Tismi so he wants to know why she is suddenly making this demand. Mitali admits the real reason is revenge. She reminds him that he once denied loving Munni but now he is marrying her which has become a public insult for her. She cannot tolerate that humiliation so she wants full custody of Tismi as payback.
Hrithik Lies About His Feelings for Munni
Hrithik realizes that getting angry will only make things worse so he calmly tells Mitali that she misunderstood the situation. He lies and claims that he is not marrying Munni because he loves her. Hrithik says Munni used to work in the house and knows everything about the family and since Tismi needs a permanent nanny marrying Munni seemed like a practical solution. He explains that nannies keep leaving but Munni already knows the household and considers the family her own so she will be the best caretaker for Tismi.
Mitali confirms his statement asking if he truly means that this marriage has nothing to do with love and is only for Tismi’s care. Hrithik says yes. Satisfied with his statement Mitali says she will reconsider the custody issue and Hrithik leaves. However Mitali secretly records their entire conversation on her phone.
After Hrithik leaves she watches the video and smirks saying that Hrithik has trapped himself in his own lies. Meanwhile Hrithik privately apologizes to Munni in his thoughts admitting that he had to lie for Tismi’s sake but the truth is that he genuinely loves Munni.
Vrinda Worries About Her Children
At home Vrinda scolds Akshaya and Madhavi after learning that they hit Ishaan in school. Akshaya tries to justify it by saying that Ishaan refused to give her his new lunchbox. Vrinda is furious and explains that hitting someone over such a small matter is unacceptable. She also reveals that Ishaan got injured and fell down because of their push.
Akshaya insists that Ishaan fell on his own but Madhavi admits that they did push him. Vrinda orders them to apologize to Ishaan but both children refuse. Akshaya even asks angrily whether Vrinda is their mother or Ishaan’s. Vrinda runs after them in frustration.
Angad arrives and asks what happened. Vrinda shares her growing concern explaining that ever since they moved to Shantiniketan the children have started changing. She says when they lived in chawl where the children understood their parents struggles. But now that they live in a big house with every luxury they may begin to take things for granted. Vrinda says that she had never even shouted at them before but today she almost raised her hand at them. She fears that too many comforts might spoil the children and as parents it is their responsibility to ensure that these luxuries do not lead them down the wrong path. Overwhelmed Vrinda breaks down in tears and worries that they might fail as parents.
Angad comforts her and says that she is overthinking. He reminds her that children eventually inherit their parents values and qualities so they will learn the right lessons.
Vrinda replies that this is exactly the stage when a child’s foundation is formed and if something goes wrong the fault will lie with the parents for not giving proper values. She then asks Angad about the boarding school plan and Angad says that he has already spoken about it but they will discuss it later.
Tulsi Prepares Munni for the Wedding
Meanwhile Tulsi helps Munni try on wedding jewelry. Munni suddenly becomes emotional and starts crying. Vandan notices and tells her that she does not have to wear anything she doesn’t like. Tulsi also reassures Munni that it is perfectly fine if she doesn’t like the jewelry.
But Munni explains that her tears are not because of the jewelry. She says that although she had a mother she grew up under Tulsi’s care spending most of her life with her. Everything she has learned in life was taught by Tulsi and she never imagined that Tulsi herself would prepare her for her wedding day. Feeling grateful Munni thanks Tulsi and says she feels extremely fortunate.
Tulsi replies emotionally that she is the fortunate one because getting the chance to perform a daughter’s kanyadaan is a blessing for any parents. She asks Munni not to cry and says that wherever Munni’s parents are they will feel happy seeing her happiness.
Karan and Nandini Meet Tulsi
Just then Karan and Nandini arrive with Parth and Samara. Tulsi is surprised to see them and Karan jokes that since it is a wedding house she expected celebrations but everyone seems serious instead. Nandini congratulates Munni and says that she is happy about her marriage with Hrithik adding that Hrithik is lucky to have her as his wife.
Karan proudly tells Munni that she has become a collector and he feels proud of her achievements. Munni humbly replies that everything she has achieved is because of Tulsi. Nandini agrees and says that Tulsi deserves the credit for it all.
Pari Confesses Her Guilt to Ajay
Elsewhere Ajay meets Pari and apologizes for arriving late. Pari tells him that he is not late but she wants to ask him why he is always so kind to her despite everything she did in the past. She says that she should be the one apologizing not only to Ajay but also to his entire family. Ajay tells her that she has already apologized many times and she should stop blaming herself so harshly.
Pari explains that while packing Garima’s bag she found one of her drawings where Garima had drawn only herself. That moment made Pari realise that her daughter is growing up and someday she will learn about Pari’s past. Pari fears that when Garima discovers the truth, she might hate her. She wants to be a good role model but she is afraid her past mistakes will overshadow everything. Ajay calms her down and wipes her tears. He assures her that she is a wonderful mother and Garima is lucky to have her. He reminds her that everyone makes mistakes but people also change with time and Pari has truly changed.
Pari then invites Ajay to Hrithik and Munni’s mehendi ceremony and Ajay agrees to attend.
Tulsi Refuses to Return to Shantiniketan
Later Karan tells Tulsi that he knows everything about the truth behind Niona’s actions. He admits that Mihir was innocent and had been framed and Mihir has already apologized for the misunderstanding. Karan also says that Mihir wants Tulsi to come back home.
However Tulsi calmly replies that asking for forgiveness and expecting her to return immediately is too easy. She reminds him that for six long years no one even tried to search for her. During that time Mihir publicly gave Niona the position that rightfully belonged to Tulsi. Tulsi recalls how every day she had to endure taunts and comparisons with Niona and whenever she spoke up people blamed her instead. Because of those painful experiences the wounds she received may never heal completely.
Tulsi firmly states that returning to Shantiniketan is not possible for her anymore.
Nandini and Karan’s Argument
Karan argues that Shantiniketan is still her home but Nandini interrupts him and says that he is ignoring Tulsi’s feelings. She adds that when a woman sees her husband with another woman it destroys her emotionally but many men fail to understand that pain. The argument escalates until Tulsi asks them to stop fighting in front of Samara.
Samara quietly says that she has become used to such arguments and walks away. Tulsi later asks Karan and Nandini what the real issue between them is. Karan explains that Nandini wants to move back to India but he cannot leave everything behind abroad. Tulsi reminds them that they had promised to resolve this issue earlier and she advises them to settle it soon after Hrithik’s wedding because such conflicts cannot continue forever.
Nandini says that she is already waiting for the wedding to end before making her decision.
Precap: Tulsi calls Damini and invites her to Hrithik and Munni’s wedding. However Gautam becomes furious after seeing Karan and Nandini there. When Tulsi asks where he is going Gautam angrily says that if Damini has been invited he cannot stay in the same place with Karan and Nandini.
He storms out leaving Tulsi shocked.
