Today’s episode begins with Tulsi telling Nandini that she wants to bring Riyo to Shantiniketan. Nandini is left completely shocked hearing this. She says that Tulsi already knows everything yet she is still saying this.
Tulsi explains that Riyo is the heir of the family. She says that he is her own blood and her grandson so he also deserves a place in the house. Tulsi adds that she is only asking permission to bring her own grandson home.
Nandini gets emotional and bitterly says that instead of asking this Tulsi should have asked for her life. She says that with one statement Tulsi made her feel like an outsider. Nandini says she always believed that during her worst times even if the entire family left her side Tulsi would always stand with her. But today Tulsi shattered that trust.
Nandini reminds Tulsi that years ago she did something no mother-in-law would ever do for her daughter-in-law but today everything has changed. She says now she understands that maybe Tulsi regrets what she did years ago and wants to correct that mistake by bringing Riyo back.
Nandini Accuses Tulsi
Tulsi tries to explain that it is not true but Nandini refuses to listen. She says there can only be one reason behind this decision. she says Tulsi still regrets killing Ansh and because of that guilt she is now giving more importance to Ansh’s son than to the daughter-in-law she once treated like her own daughter.
Nandini emotionally says that Tulsi forgot all the pain of the past and only remembered her heir. She says she can never forget Ansh’s face till her dying day and now Tulsi wants to bring that same face back in front of her only because Riyo is Ansh’s son and belongs to the family bloodline.
She further says that today Tulsi herself created a difference between her own and outsiders.
Tulsi Defends Her Decision
Tulsi firmly replies that Nandini is wrong. She says she does not regret killing Ansh because she only did what was right. Tulsi adds that she has punished herself for years for that incident and silently suffered without expressing her pain to anyone.
However today as a mother she is thinking about another innocent child. Tulsi says Ansh was punished for his crimes but why is Riyo still suffering from something he never did? She says Riyo and Niyati are being denied their rights in the family despite having no fault.
Nandini asks what her own fault was. She says Tulsi first made her a daughter and today reduced her back to just a daughter-in-law. Tulsi emotionally tells her that every daughter-in-law in the family is equal to her daughter. She says if she had not considered Nandini her daughter she would never have shot Ansh to protect her.
Still Tulsi feels hurt that even after everything Nandini believes she would ever let something wrong happen to her.
Nandini Refuses to Accept Riyo
Nandini says none of those explanations matter anymore because Tulsi has changed. She reveals that she was always scared that the day Riyo came in front of Tulsi this exact situation would happen and today her fear became reality.
She tells Tulsi that if she wants an answer then her answer is no. Nandini clearly refuses to let Riyo stay in Shantiniketan. Tulsi then tells Nandini that to show kindness to her. She asks her to think about Riyo and Niyati who are struggling outside without support. Tulsi says Riyo should not suffer just because he resembles his father Ansh. She adds that Riyo never committed any sin the mistakes were Ansh’s not his.
Nandini finally says that if Tulsi truly believes injustice is happening with Riyo then she will not stop her. Instead she leaves the final decision completely in Tulsi’s hands. Nandini shockingly says Tulsi must decide who will stay in Shantiniketan either Riyo and Niyati or she. After saying this Nandini walks away leaving Tulsi stunned.
Nandini Faces Emotional Turmoil
Later Gayatri calls Pari and asks how she is doing. She tells her to enjoy herself there. Gayatri happily says that today’s breakfast has all of Nandini’s favorite dishes because Tulsi never leaves any shortage when it comes to her daughters-in-law. However Nandini quietly says she is not hungry.
Gayatri senses something is wrong and asks if everything is fine. Nandini replies that until now everything was fine. Meanwhile Saloni informs Tulsi that Gautam called and confirmed he dropped Shobha at the airport and will soon arrive home.
Saloni then asks where Munni is. Hrithik says Munni went to pick up her sister because she is coming for treatment related to her eyesight. Damini explains that the illness is called nyctalopia. Tulsi warmly says that Munni’s family is also their family.
Tulsi and Nandini’s Relationship Turns Tense
Soon Munni arrives with her sister Khushbu and introduces her to everyone. Khushbu greets the family respectfully.
Nandini remains lost in her thoughts while Tulsi asks whether she is still upset. Nandini coldly replies that Tulsi casually spoke about such a huge matter. At that moment Sahil also arrives home. The entire family becomes happy seeing him.
Riyo Finds Ansh Photography
Elsewhere Niyati searches for Riyo’s guitar in a dusty storeroom. Riyo asks why she is checking such old things in such a dirty place because her health may get affected.
Suddenly Riyo notices a locked box. Niyati quickly stops him from touching it and says it contains Karan’s important papers so nobody is allowed to open it. She then remembers she has to attend a society meeting. Riyo cleverly tells her to go because he will lock the room himself after checking for some of his missing belongings.
After Niyati leaves Riyo becomes suspicious and wonders what could be so important inside the box. He breaks the lock and opens it. Inside he finds an old diary and several college photographs of Niyati. Then he sees a photo of Niyati with Ansh. Riyo gets completely shocked because Ansh looks exactly like him.
He immediately realizes that Ansh might actually be his real father. Riyo starts wondering why Karan always stopped him from asking questions about his father. He becomes convinced that the family has been hiding the truth from him.
Nandini Struggles With Her Inner Conflict
Back at Shantiniketan Sahil distributes gifts to everyone. He first gives Tulsi her gift and says she comes before everyone else. Tulsi lovingly says his return itself is the biggest gift for her.
Later Tulsi asks Munni where Khushbu is and Munni says she is resting. The family enjoys breakfast together while Sahil praises Tulsi’s cooking. Everyone thanks him for the gifts. Damini especially thanks Tulsi for gifting her a laptop because she really needed it.
Tulsi sweetly says mothers always understand what their daughters want and that daughters should never say thank you for a mother’s love. Even during the happy family moment Nandini remains disturbed because she cannot forget Tulsi’s decision regarding Riyo.
Tulsi Announce Property Division
Karan notices Nandini’s discomfort and tries changing the topic by asking Sahil why he suddenly came home. Sahil explains that Tulsi called him because Saloni and Munni’s pregnancy rituals are approaching.
Gayatri says Hemant was too busy to come but Sahil staying with them feels nice. Suddenly Tulsi shocks everyone by bringing up the topic of property division in the family. The family is left speechless.
Tulsi explains that everyone now has separate responsibilities and expenses so things should be organized properly. She says Mihir also wanted the business investments and property matters to be discussed openly among the family.
Gayatri questions why Tulsi wants to discuss this right now. Tulsi replies that if important matters are delayed they never reach a conclusion. She asks everyone to discuss how things should be divided so the paperwork process can begin on time.
Gautam and Karan Start Fighting
Gautam says they should wait for Mihir to return before discussing anything serious. Karan argues that Mihir himself wanted this discussion.
Soon Gautam and Karan begin arguing with each other. Tulsi scolds them and asks whether they are children because they fight over every small issue. Gautam says he and Karan can never agree on the same thing.
Tulsi firmly replies that this time everyone will have to agree because the family’s future depends on it. She further adds that not only sons, but daughters-in-law will also have equal opinions in the division because the daughters-in-law of the house are treated as daughters.
Hearing this Nandini becomes even more upset and walks away. The family is shocked by her sudden reaction and Karan follows her to calm her down.
Precap: Nandini tells Karan that because of Tulsi Riyo has already entered their lives and soon he may enter Shantiniketan as well. She says Tulsi must now decide whether Riyo and Niyati will stay in the house or she will.
Meanwhile Tulsi starts worrying that her decisions may slowly destroy her own family instead of protecting it. Later a terrified Nandini suddenly panics and tells Tulsi that Ansh is alive. She tells Tulsi that she had lied to her about shooting Ansh and now Ansh has returned alive. The entire family is left shocked
