Today’s episode begins with Raunak saying they will have to face the punishment of the wedding. Samaira asks why they should suffer. If not Chandigarh they can go somewhere else.
Karan says he also thought about leaving but his close friend Subhash is coming from the US after a long time. They are planning to start a business together so he cannot leave.
Raunak and Karan Talk About Subhash
Samaira asks if Subhash will also stay in the house. Karan says no. He has already arranged a hotel for him. Samaira says he is making compromises for others. Since he is Karan’s close friend it would be better if he stayed in a hotel
Karan Wants to Hide the Truth
Raunak says that if Subhash stays in the house he will learn about all the problems in the family. Karan says if Subhash stays there and watches the daily drama it could affect everything.
He says Subhash does not know the truth. He will think that if Karan could not stand by his own brother then how will he stand by a friend or handle a business partnership?
Karan says Subhash should not find out what is happening in the family. That is why staying in a hotel is the better option.
Sahil Questions Karan
Later Sahil and Karan are watching a match together. Samaira asks about Devika. She asks when Devika is coming home and says she will go to pick her up.
Karan says Devika is arriving late at night so Samaira will not go anywhere at that time. Samaira insists that Devika will feel happy if she goes to receive her.
Karan says if Devika had arrived during the day he would not have stopped her but she is not going out at night. Sahil asks Karan when he becomes so strict.
He says Samaira is grown up now. Girls of her age are independent and Karan should not try to control them.
Sahil Calls Out Karan’s Controlling Nature
Sahil says Nandini was also independent at the same age. All the women in their family have always been independent. He asks why Karan has become so old-fashioned and strict.
Karan says he only wants what is best for his children. Sahil tells him he used to say children should be given complete freedom so they become fearless and never give up on their dreams.
He says Karan himself believed that controlling children is harmful for their future.
Sahil warns Karan

Gautam Taunt Karan
Gautam overhears their conversation and supports Sahil. He says Karan keeps his children under too many restrictions as if there is no better way to raise them.
Gautam asks Sahil to keep trying because maybe Karan will finally listen to him. Karan taunts he will now take parenting advice from someone whose own son is not marrying his elder brother’s wife.
Gautam says it is very easy to judge others. Some people conveniently forget their own past. He tells Karan to look back at everything he himself has done in life.
Gautam and Karan Argument
Karan and Gautam begin arguing. Sahil asks both of them to stop. Gautam asks Sahil to stay away from the matter.
Sahil says it is better if he stays with Karan because he knows the history between the two brothers and knows that things have never been normal between them.
Gautam tells Sahil to grow up. He says his marriage to Ganga happened a long time ago but everyone is still holding on to the past.
Karan calls Gautam a hypocrite
Karan taunts Gautam by saying that just a few moments ago he was reminding him of his past but now he wants everyone to forget his own past. He calls Gautam a hypocrite.

Tulsi’s Determination
Later Tulsi tells Maharaj that there are two or three wedding functions so a special dish should be prepared every day.

She always does what she says. Gayatri jokes that people become stubborn with age. Tulsi says she may have grown older, but her eyes and mind still work perfectly.
Shobha tells Gayatri that the dance instructor has arrived and they have to learn all the performances because there is very little time left.
Damini, Shobha and Gayatri begin practicing their dance.
Raunak and Samaira Mock the Family
Raunak and Samaria watch the dance practice. Raunak jokes it looks more like a circus than a dance performance. Samaira says she does not think they will be able to perform properly.
She adds that it does not matter because they can do whatever they want. Raunak says the dance is usually performed by the bride’s side anyway. Samaira says Vaishavi’s family is not here.
Tulsi Challenges Raunak and Samaira

Raunak and Samaira Accept the Challenge
Raunak asks what happens if he wins.Tulsi says if they win she will do whatever they ask. But if she wins they will have to accept one thing she asks them to do.
Raunak and Samaira accept the challenge. Raunak says it is a good chance to step out of the house and this time they will definitely win.
Just then Karan comes and asks what is happening and where Garima is. Samaira says Garima has gone to a friend’s house to collect notes.
Tulsi Meet Subhash
Later Subhash reaches the hotel and asks the receptionist to check the booking that Karan made for him. The receptionist says there is no booking in his name.
Just then Tulsi arrives. She introduces herself as Karan’s mother. Subhash says he already knows her because Karan has shown him her photo and spoken about her many times.
He says there seems to be some confusion the hotel booking was cancelled. Tulsi says she has come to take him home. She tells him that he is Karan’s friend so he should stay in Shantiniketan with the family instead of staying in a hotel.
Subhash reminds her that Karan said the house was under renovation. Tulsi says Karan lied.
The Family Gets Ready for the Mehendi Ceremony
Later Gautam and the rest of the family get ready for Nakul and Vaishavi’s Mehendi ceremony. Karan’s family shows no interest in joining the celebration.
Gayatri asks everyone to begin the ceremony. Nakul notices Karan’s family and tells Gautam they have deliberately worn simple clothes again. He says he is most upset with Raunak he helped him but Raunak is still behaving this way.
Gautam tells Nakul not to get angry over such things. He says today is one of the most important days of his life so he should enjoy the function.
Tulsi Brings Subhash to Shantiniketan
Vaishavi asks Shobha where Tulsi is. Just then Tulsi arrives. Shobha asks where she had gone. Tulsi says she had gone to bring Subhash. Karan is shocked to see him.
Subhash asks Karan why he lied to him. Tulsi says she had overheard their conversation so she herself brought Subhash home. She says true friendship never needs lies.
Tulsi Outsmarts Karan
Subhash says Tulsi told him the entire truth. He says she wanted him to stay in the house but he thought he might make everyone uncomfortable.
He says their friendship is very old and since there is a wedding in his friend’s house it is his duty to help with the preparations.
Tulsi says this is her house which means it is also Subhash’s house and he will stay here comfortably. She then asks Karan to smile.
Gautam Questions Tulsi
Gautam asks Tulsi what is happening and why she brought Subhash to the house.
Tulsi says Nakul wanted a big businessman to attend his wedding as a guest and he is complaining.
She says Karan asks why they are still not ready for the function. Tulsi asks everyone to get ready for the ceremony. Just then Subhash receives a phone call and excuses himself.
Karan Feels Trapped
Raunak asks Karan what is happening. Karan says in the end people will think he is the one who is wrong and that he lied. Raunak says everything is happening because of Tulsi.
