Today’s episode begins with Tulsi saying she wants to give the house keys to one person. Damini thinks Tulsi is going to give the keys to her. She even takes Tulsi’s blessings by touching her feet.
Tulsi says she has decided from today the house keys will belong to Vaishavi. Everyone is left shocked.
Karan Gets Angry at Tulsi’s Decision
Karan asks Tulsi what has happened to her. He says she never misses a chance to insult him. He tells Gautam now he can clearly see the truth.
He says Gautam always called Tulsi his mother but he cannot understand how a mother can become her own son’s enemy. He says she never leaves any chance to break him. First she killed his son and now she is doing this.
Tulsi asks Karan where all this hatred inside him came from. Karan says Tulsi herself is the reason for his hatred. He says this is why he always wanted Tulsi to stay away from the house.
Karan Slams Tulsi
Karan says he also did not want Vaishavi to enter the house but Tulsi brought her into the house against his wishes. Karan asks why Tulsi is doing all this.
He says she wants him to leave the house. He tells she has already broken him and now she wants to humiliate Nandini too. He says Nandini will now have to take orders from Vaishavi every day.
Tulsi says Karan himself said she is not his mother. If she is not his mother then how can Nandini be her daughter-in-law?
Tulsi Stands by Her Decision
Tulsi asks how giving the keys to Vaishavi is an insult to Nandini. Karan says Tulsi is very smart. First she plays games and then acts great in front of everyone.
He says she can do whatever she wants but she will never achieve her goal. He says he is not going to leave the house. He then walks away.
Niyati Questions Tulsi’s Decision
Niyati tells Tulsi she did not even think about Damini who is also her daughter-in-law. She asks why Damini was ignored.
Tulsi says she made this decision after thinking about the entire family. She says she is happy to see Niyati showing sympathy for Damini.
Tulsi says the decision has already been made. The keys will only go to Vaishavi not to Damini and not to Nandini.
She says no one should object as the house belongs and keys belong to her and the decision is also hers.
Tulsi Gives the House Keys to Vaishavi
Shobha says the issue is not about objecting. The responsibility is very big and it would have been better if an elder family member handled it.
Tulsi says she believes in capability not age. She says when elder daughter-in-law got the responsibility there was only fights taunts and arguments. She say a daughter-in-law who keeps the family united deserves the responsibility.
Tulsi says Vaishavi has created a new record for the first time in Shantiniketan’s history the youngest daughter-in-law is receiving the biggest responsibility.
Tulsi places the house keys in Vaishavi’s hands. Niyati and Raunak get upset and leave.
Gautam Questions Tulsi
Gautam says  Tulsi he has no problem with her decision as Vaishavi is his daughter-in-law. He say she has just entered the family and Tulsi is already giving her such a huge responsibility.
He says Damini is experienced and Vaishavi should learn from her. Tulsi says she Damini will teach Vaishavi. The keys will stay with Vaishavi only.
Tulsi then tells Gautam if he is talking so much about responsibility then he should also think about the head of the family. She asks him where Mihir is.
Gautam Avoids Tulsi’s Question
Gautam avoids the question by saying he has an important phone call and leaves. Damini tells Tulsi she will Support Vaishavi.
She says but Gautam is not wrong as Vaishavi is new and handling such a big responsibility will not be easy. Tulsi says earlier the responsibility was given to an experienced daughter-in-law but the house still got divided.
She says this time they should try trusting the new daughter-in-law. Tulsi asks Damini to help Vaishavi. Damini assures Vaishavi not to worry they will manage everything together.
Tulsi Motivates Vaishavi
Later Vaishavi meets Tulsi. She says the responsibility is too big and she cannot handle it. She says Tulsi is the head of the family and should remain in that position.
She says many people already hate her so she cannot do this. She requests Tulsi to take the keys back. Tulsi says Vaishavi she handled the bandhej business when she was not around.
She says keeping a family together is like a thread that joins every relationship. Vaishavi says a thread has no emotions and people do. People hate each other and changing them is not easy. She says she is very young and has no experience.
Tulsi Gives Vaishavi Strength
Tulsi tells her she will never let her fail. Vaishavi says she does not even know where to begin or what she should say to everyone.
Tulsi tells her to simply follow whatever she says. She explains her plan to Vaishavi. Vaishavi again says she is scared and may not be able to do it.
Tulsi tells her to leave her fear behind and follow her order because it is her decision.
Gautam and Damini Discuss Tulsi’s Question
Gautam tells Damini he still does not understand why Tulsi did not give the keys to her. He says in the past Tulsi had trusted Nandini with the keys.
Damini says it does not matter the keys have still gone to their own daughter-in-law and in the end they keys is still with their family.
She says Tulsi questions him about Mihir’s whereabouts and asks if he knows where Mihir is. Gautam says he has already said many times that he does not know where Mihir is.
Niyati Feels Insulted
Meanwhile Karan tells Niyati he does not know what Tulsi is planning. He only knows Tulsi wants to harm him. She has already hurt him before and will never stop.
Niyati says today’s incident has made one thing clear. She has no place and no respect in this house. She says she had no value as her marriage with Ansh did not happen.
She says But Riyo was this family’s son and even after that no one values her relationship with the family.
She asks why everyone forgets her so easily. She says Tulsi gave the keys to Vaishavi without thinking about anyone else.
Tulsi Defends Her Decision
Tulsi says she made the decision she has the right to make decisions in this house. That is why she is living with respect here.
She says if she could not make decisions then her condition would have been very different. Tulsi says the house belongs to her so things will happen as her wishes. If someone does not like it that is their problem.
She says she will not beg anyone to understand her and she will not give explanations to anyone.
Karan Brings Up Mihir’s Letters
Karan says he does not want any explanation from Tulsi. He asks how she can explain what she did with her sons Riyo and Parth with him with Nandini and with the rest of the family.
As Tulsi starts leaving Karan stops her. He says she should not think he is grateful just because she didn’t told anyone about the letters that were sent by him to her in Mihir’s name.
Tulsi Breaks Down
Karan says it is Tulsi’s biggest misunderstanding. He says Mihir may not have written those letters himself but everything written in them was is what Mihir truly felt.
He says he wrote the letters Mihir had in his heart. Karan tells Tulsi she must accept the truth Mihir hate her. Tulsi breaks down in tears.
Sahil hears the entire conversation and is left shocked.
Sahil Questions Gautam and Karan
Later Sahil calls Gautam and Karan to meet him. They ask why he called them there. Sahil asks what is really going on between them. Karan says nothing is happening.
Sahil asks if they think he is a child or a fool. He asks where Mihir is. Karan says he does not know. Sahil says they are making Tulsi believe the letters are from Mihir without knowing the full truth.
He says he has noticed whenever Mihir’s name comes up both Gautam and Karan become nervous and look at each other. Sahil asks them to tell him the truth.
Gautam and Karan Refuse to Tell Sahil the Truth
Gautam tells Sahil to stay away this is about their father Mihir matters. Sahil asks if he is not part of this family.
Gautam says that is not true and  he his their younger brother. Sahil says they always say he is their younger brother but they have always made him feel like an outsider whenever the matter is about Mihir.
He says he expected this from them. Sahil then leaves. Karan wonders what is happening.
Precap: Tulsi tells the family the person who holds the house keys is the true head of the family. She gives the house keys to Vaishavi. Everyone is shocked. Damini says she does not agree with this decision.
Niyati says she agrees with Damini. Tulsi says that when people do not understand simple words sometimes a clever plan becomes necessary.
