Today’s episode begins with Parth seeing some goons misbehaving with Vaishavi. He gets shocked and fights with them. However the goons overpower him catch him and start beating him badly.
Vaishavi cries for help. Riyo says that Parth will not be able to handle the situation alone and that he must do something. Riyo jumps into the fight and beats the goons. The goons eventually run away. Vaishavi thanks Riyo for saving her.
Riyo Teases ParthÂ
Riyo helps Parth stand up but then lightly hits him. Vaishavi gets shocked and asks why he hit Parth.
Riyo calls Parth dead ribs and jokes that he looked like they were washing him like utensils while getting beaten. He says the goons beat him badly. Riyo says that Parth should feel embarrassed because he got beaten in front of Vaishavi. He tells him to be a man and says the goons were beating him badly.
Parth replies that everything happened suddenly. Riyo says that next time if Vaishavi is in danger again Parth will once again get beaten up. Parth says he does not want to talk to him. Vaishavi gives water to Parth and says that his clothes have become dirty and he has a client meeting to attend.
Riyo jokes that in his current condition nobody would even give him alms. Parth warns him not to cross his limits. Riyo says that Parth should go home while he and Vaishavi attend the meeting. Parth refuses and says they cannot go alone. Riyo teases him again and calls him insecure.
Tulsi Talks About Responsibilities
Meanwhile Gautam and Hemant discuss their work and praise each other. Gautam asks Hemant why he suddenly came there.
Hemant says that Tulsi called him and asked him to come home because she wanted to discuss something important. Tulsi arrives and Hemant asks her about the retirement discussion she mentioned earlier. Tulsi says that she has reached an age where she wants to reduce her workload. She explains that Mihir also wants the younger generation to get more responsibilities.
Tulsi says that when Baa gave her responsibilities she also felt it was a huge burden. She says she later understood that younger family members can only learn when responsibilities are given to them. She says one generation comes while another moves forward and now it is time to pass responsibilities to the next generation.
Hemant agrees and says she must have thought carefully before making this decision. However he asks why she is talking about a Power of Attorney.
Discussion About Power of Attorney
Tulsi explains that Hemant does not stay at home and Gautam also keeps travelling. Karan has his own business. Therefore someone who stays in Shantiniketan should manage the family business regularly.
She says only three names remain Nakul, Parth and Riyo. Tulsi proposes giving Power of Attorney to one of them so that business operations become easier. Gautam says Nakul is still too young and dreams of studying abroad. He can join the business after completing his studies. Tulsi says that means the choice is between Parth and Riyo.
Hemant says they should carefully think before giving such authority to one person. Tulsi says that sooner or later they must appoint someone because every day many documents and resolutions need signatures. Giving Power of Attorney will make things easier.
Hemant jokes that convincing the daughters-in-law will be the real challenge and says it will be entertaining to watch.
Riyo And Parth Argument Over KaranÂ
Later Nandini applies medicine to Parth’s injuries and asks who beat him. Riyo immediately says that he hit Parth too and even gave him a ‘manly punch.’
Tulsi arrives and becomes worried after seeing Parth injured. Vaishavi explains that some goons were harassing her and Parth tried to save her. Riyo again teases Parth and says he got beaten badly like a child.
Vaishavi adds that Riyo arrived on time and chased the goons away. Tulsi feels proud that Riyo was there to help Parth. Riyo says there is no need to thank him. If he had not helped Parth he would have helped anyone in that situation. He says Parth is his brother.
Riyo further says that Karan is Parth’s father and if anything had happened to Parth, Karan would have been hurt. He can never tolerate Karan being sad. He also asks everyone to imagine what would have happened to Vaishavi if he had not arrived there. Parth replies that he would have saved Vaishavi himself and reminds Riyo that Karan is not his father.
Riyo firmly says that Karan has been his father since childhood. He considers Karan his father and will continue to do so until his last breath because he loves him. Nandini asks Parth to go and change his clothes. Vaishavi receives a phone call and leaves. Riyo says he will wait in the car.
Nandini Disagrees With Tulsi
Tulsi tells Nandini that Riyo was useful today and hopes everyone will now see his good side. Nandini replies that from Tulsi’s position everything looks good. She says if Tulsi stood in her place her thinking might change.
Nandini adds that Tulsi will continue believing what she wants while she will continue believing what she feels is right. Tulsi says she understands Nandini’s feelings and therefore does not want to argue further.
Tulsi give House Keys and responsibilityÂ
Damini arrives and Tulsi starts discussing the issue of the house keys. Tulsi says she does not understand why such a big issue has been created over the keys. She explains that she is only trying to hand responsibilities to the next generation while she is still present to guide them.
Pooja says she should be kept out of this matter because she frequently travels with Hemant and will not be able to handle such responsibilities. She suggests giving the responsibility either to Damini or Nandini. Tulsi asks both Damini and Nandini who should receive the keys. Damini says Tulsi should decide.
Nandini says that since Gautam is the eldest son Damini deserves the keys first. Damini says that being the eldest does not automatically mean she should step forward and claim them herself. Pooja again requests Tulsi to make the final decision.
Nandini Receives the Keys
Tulsi says that Damini deserves respect as the eldest daughter-in-law, but she also does not want younger family members to feel ignored. She explains her management principle.
Tulsi says her biggest empire is not the business but the family itself. She decides that Damini will manage financial matters such as household expenses and money distribution.
However Nandini will manage the family’s daily operations including birthdays, festivals, anniversaries and everyone’s needs and happiness. So Tulsi gives the house keys to Nandini. Damini is shocked and visibly upset.
Tulsi says that Damini’s responsibilities have not become smaller. As the eldest daughter-in-law she still has an important role and both women must work together.
Hemant praises Tulsi for solving such a difficult issue so easily. Tulsi replies that one important matter is still left the Power of Attorney.
Damini Questions Tulsi’s Decision
Later Tulsi asks Damini whether she feels hurt by the decision. Damini says Tulsi does not need to justify herself because she must have made the decision after careful thought.
Damini asks what will happen regarding the business. She wonders whether Nandini will also manage that.
Tulsi says she discussed the matter with Gautam and Hemant and feels that either Parth or Riyo should receive the Power of Attorney. Damini asks why Nakul is not being considered.
Tulsi explains that Nakul wants to study abroad and will not stay there regularly. Therefore giving him the Power of Attorney would not be practical. Damini worries that Nakul may not receive anything later.
Tulsi immediately clarifies that a Power of Attorney is not property distribution. Nakul’s rights will remain protected and she herself will arrange everything for his education abroad.
Tulsi says the business decision will also be taken but it will happen in front of all the daughters-in-law.
Precap: Tulsi tells Karan that she can no longer tolerate the injustice being done to Riyo and Niyati. She believes they deserve their rightful place and rights.
Tulsi wonders how time will heal the pain and conflicts that have developed within the family relationships.
