Today’s episode Begins with Tulsi washing utensils in jail. Arundhati deliberately licks a clean plate and throws it back for Tulsi to wash again. Tulsi ignores her. Arundhati tries to provoke Tulsi.
She says Tulsi has a history of killing people. She taunts her saying she first killed her son and then her grandson.
Arundhati Wants Tulsi in Her Gang
Arundhati says Tulsi’s real work is not washing utensils but becoming part of her gang. She says the safest way to survive in jail is to join her gang.
She says if she does she won’t have to pay protection money and no one will trouble her. Tulsi remains silent. One of the Arundhati’s gang members asks why Tulsi is not replying.
Arundhati says it is even more satisfying to break the pride of someone who stays silent.
Tulsi Refuses Arundhati’s Offer
An inmate tells Tulsi not to make Arundhati her enemy. She asks why Tulsi refused Arundhati’s offer of friendship.
Tulsi says friendship is not based on fear. That is called slavery. She says she has not come to jail to make friends or enemies. She has only come to complete her punishment.
An inmate says that many people in the jail are serving sentences for crimes they committed. However there are also many people who are innocent. She says many inmates believe Tulsi has been punished for a crime she never committed.
Tulsi Breaks Down Before Lord Krishna
Later Tulsi sits alone and cries. She wonders how much more punishment she has to suffer. She says she killed her own son with her hands and watched her grandson die in front of her eyes.
She says she is already dead while still alive. She asks how many more tests she must face. Tulsi asks Lord Krishna what sin she committed to deserve such punishment.
She begs Lord Krishna to free her from this life because she cannot bear the pain anymore.
Lord Krishna Appears to Tulsi
Suddenly Lord Krishna appears before her. He asks if she truly wants freedom from life. Tulsi asks why he is questioning her. She says she has cried before him countless times asking for freedom.
She says she worshipped him all her life and always tried to follow the path he showed her. She says there must be some mistake because he still does not let her die. She says she was born into a poor family suffered her father’s insults every day and never complained.
She says after marrying Mihir she struggled to earn the love of her in-laws but still accepted everything as God’s wish. She says she even gave birth to a criminal but never questioned her fate.
she had to kill her own son. She accepted going to jail. Now she has also seen her grandson die before her eyes.
Tulsi Asks for Freedom
Tulsi says she is tired and cannot bear anything more. She again asks Lord Krishna to free her from this life.
Lord Krishna tells Tulsi the last time she also wanted to die but later she found a new purpose in life. Tulsi asks what purpose she has now. She says the family she sacrificed everything for never stood by her.
She says Vaishavi also suffered because of her. Tulsi says no one in her family supported her. Karan her son never admitted Parth was wrong. He never asked why Parth had raised his hand on her. Even Mihir never questioned her pain.
She says how can she search for purpose because no one stood beside her.
Lord Krishna Gives Tulsi Hope
Lord Krishna tells Tulsi that her family is much bigger than she thinks. He says that the entire society is her family not just her own loved ones.
He was born in jail and his death was written from birth. Just as life has a fixed time death also has its own time. Tulsi says she does not care about fate anymore. She only wants freedom.
Lord Krishna says many people think life is over when it is actually just beginning. He tells Tulsi that her new journey is about to begin. Tulsi asks if it will begin inside the jail.
Lord Krishna says only time will answer that. He says whenever destiny closes one door it opens another. He says there is a reason she is in jail. Very soon she will find the real purpose of her life.
Lord Krishna’s Guidance for Tulsi
Lord Krishna says he writes everyone’s story while people only play their roles. Even a person’s name is decided by him.
He says he gave her the name Tulsi because she was meant to become like the holy Tulsi plant. He says Tulsi may taste bitter but it removes poison. He tells her duty is to give without expecting anything in return. Only then will her life become meaningful.
Tulsi says her own family has become strangers. Lord Krishna says if they had truly been her own they would have stood beside her instead of standing against her.
Lord Krishna Gives Tulsi Direction
He tells her in difficult times it is often situations that become the enemy not people. He says the family is learning to live without her because she gave them good values. Now it is her turn to face a new test.
Tulsi asks what purpose she should search for. Lord Krishna says a life lived only for oneself ends quickly but a life lived for others becomes immortal. He tells Tulsi to make other people’s pain her own hide her own tears and wipe away the tears of others. Only then will she find true freedom.
He says there are people around her who need her. Her purpose may not be outside the jail but inside it. After saying this Lord Krishna disappears.
Tulsi and Arundhati Face Off
Tulsi sees Arundhati beating Subhangi. She asks why Arundhati is hitting her. Arundhati says anyone who does not pay protection money will be beaten like this.
Shubhangi says Arundhati can kill her because she has no money. Arundhati slaps her and says she will stop only if she gets the money. Subhangi runs away Arundhati and her gang chases her.
Tulsi tries to stop them. Another inmate asks Tulsi not to interfere.
Tulsi Stands Against Arundhati
Later the jail warden gives Shubhangi a box of sweets sent by her family. Another inmate asks for a sweet. Shubhangi refuses and says the sweets were sent by her mother’s love.
Arundhati arrives snatches the sweets and starts beating Shubhangi again. Tulsi steps forward.
She grabs Arundhati’s hand and returns the sweets to Subhangi. Tulsi says that as long as she is there no one will touch Subhangi. Arundhati becomes angry and pushes Tulsi. She tries to attack her.
Tulsi Confronts Arundhati
Tulsi calmly tells Arundhati that hurting others will never reduce the pain inside her heart. She says Arundhati is carrying the pain of being accused of killing her own child.
Tulsi says Arundhati her husband used to beat both her and their son. The whole neighbourhood knew about the abuse but no one came to help. She says the husband used to beat the ten-year-old child every day.
One day he beat the child so badly that he lost consciousness. Unable to bear the torture Arundhati killed her husband. But she could not save her son. The police believed she had murdered both her husband and her child.
Tulsi and Arundhati Clash
Tulsi says Arundhati loved her son and still cannot bear the false accusation of killing him. She tells her the storm inside her heart will never end by hurting innocent people.
Arundhati tells Tulsi she herself has been accused of killing both her son and grandson. Tulsi tells her she is not guilty of the punishment she is serving.
She says no one came to help her either not her family and not even the people from her neighbourhood.She says the police never properly investigated her case and simply closed it.
Arundhati’s Gang Turns Against Her
Arundhati accuses Tulsi of making up stories to save herself. She asks if Tulsi plans to take responsibility for everyone’s pain.
Arundhati tries to attack Tulsi again. Another inmate stops her. The woman tells Arundhati Tulsi is speaking the truth. One by one Arundhati’s gang members also stand beside Tulsi.
Precap: After spending ten years in jail, Tulsi returns to Shantiniketan. She is shocked to see that the house has been divided into two parts. Gautam lives on one side while Karan lives on the other. Karan warns Gautam never to cross the dividing line. Gautam says if Karan has a problem with his parties he should simply close his ears.
Just then Karan sees Tulsi and taunts her. He says he prayed every day that no child would ever get a mother like her. Karan tells Tulsi that she no longer has any place in Shantiniketan. Tulsi is left shocked and heartbroken.
